Neo has reached a significant milestone with the launch of the Alpha Version of Neo X TestNet. It is built on the success of the previously released Pre-Alpha Version. This progress shows Neo’s dedication to offering a strong blockchain environment for developers to test Neo X’s features. The Alpha Version improves performance and usability.
Neo X TestNet Alpha Version Boosts Compatibility with Neo N3
Multi-nodes and consensus module upgrades are Alpha Version highlights. Alpha supports two broken validator nodes on seven consensus nodes. Many nodes have more stability and reliable consensus with this implementation. The consensus module underwent significant modifications to ensure reliable performance and proper termination of modules.
The Alpha Version connects Neo N3 and Neo X TestNets, boosting compatibility. The interoperability layer lets Neo X TestNet users transfer tokens while launching projects. A ‘native bridge’ precompiles Neo X genesis contracts and works as network infrastructure.
Indigenous bridges have separated validators and relayers for security. Seven bridge validators check the token and data transfers using OBH Chain data. First, only GAS is supported. Plans are ongoing to support many currencies and data. Additionally, it will launch an initial version of a bridge decentralized application (dApp).
Neo X TestNet Welcomes Web3 Developers to Early-Access Group for Joint Advancement
The Early-Access Group welcomes experienced Web3 developers to help the Neo X TestNet flourish and gain insights. This joint effort will assess the platform’s potential and forge alliances with the Neo core development team to advance Neo X. Over 30,000 developers and customers want to test Pre-Alpha. Neo thanks the interest and has welcomed a few developers to Early-Access.
Neo joins the Alpha TestNet to continue working with the Early-Access Group. To test the Neo X TestNet, experienced developers should apply for early access. Neo emphasizes that TestNet research benefits experienced developers, although not all submissions are approved. The platform needs user feedback and a public version in future iterations.
All TestNet data will be deleted as the platform evolves. Developers should only keep testing data because upgrades may delete it. Neo appreciates the excitement surrounding Neo X and envisions a future where NeoVM and EVM coexist and contribute to the Smart Economy. Developer community assistance through the Early-Access Group will help Neo X TestNet prosper.
