Bangkok, Thailand, March 13th, 2024, Chainwire
Southeast Asia Blockchain Week (SEABW) has announced its first event with the goal of becoming the region’s premier web3 conference. Scheduled for Bangkok, Thailand from April 22, the inaugural SEABW features a host of top speakers.
SEABW was founded to spotlight the remarkable web3 innovation and blockchain adoption taking place across Southeast Asia. Major participants have been confirmed for the maiden event which runs from April 22-28 in Bangkok’s True Icon Hall. Sponsors such as SCBX, Aptos, and Analog will be in attendance along with hundreds of delegates, while MarketAcross has been confirmed as the official media partner.Â
Speaking at the week-long event will be Animoca Brands’ Evan Auyang, Aptos CEO Mo Shaikh, Wintermute Co-founder Yoann Turpin, and YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon. There will also be senior figures from Hashed, Wintermute, Manta Network, and many other acclaimed web3 and GameFi companies.
Highlights from the first SEABW main conference include a Game Day co-hosted by YGG and W3GG. In addition to showcasing the latest web3 games, it will include giveaways, activities, community game showmatch and demos of forthcoming titles. The week will also include a focus on startups, who will have an opportunity to present and connect with investors.
Much of the content at the inaugural SEABW will be centered around the blockchain development that is taking place within Southeast Asia. With more than 700 million residents, the region has a highly tech-literate population that has been a driver of growth in verticals such as web3 gaming.Â
With the event being hosted in Thailand’s capital, SEABW will draw attention to the country’s burgeoning blockchain ecosystem. Thailand’s first tokenization seminar will help businesses navigate emerging technologies and harness their full potential.
Another highlight from Southeast Asia Blockchain Week promises to be ONCHAIN2024, the region’s first real-world asset conference. Influential figures from traditional finance, fintech, and web3 will provide insights on the future of RWAs through a series of panel discussions. There will also be networking opportunities that bring builders and backers together.
Tickets are on sale for the first Southeast Asia Blockchain Week main conference, which will be held on April 24-25.
