- VeChain integration to allow better traceability of transactions
- VeChain’s interoperability enables connection with more than 80 ERPs
- At press time, VET trades at $0.0069
According to a press release published March 31, 2019, Germany-based development company Actiware has successfully integrated VeChain’s blockchain-based solutions to ensure better traceability and accountability of data.
Another Feather in the Cap for VeChain
VeChain, a Singapore-based blockchain supply chain management company has made considerable strides in recent times. While its digital token might not have shown wild price movements as of late, the slow and steady adoption of VeChain’s stellar blockchain solutions will no doubt give its loyal VET holders impressive returns in the future.
Per the latest development, German B2B software development firm Actiware has “seamlessly” integrated VeChain functions into the process automation. This integration will allow the company to trace metadata obtained at runtime from machines (e.g. via OPC UA, MQTT, AMQP…) or documents in VeChain transactions.
This also ensures that once the data is uploaded on VeChain blockchain, it would be nigh impossible to alter or manipulate their details and specifics. Further, according to the press release, these transactions will be available 24×7 on the network and can be used as a central reference for all business partners.
Users will be able to access transactions on VeChain blockchain in a chronological order which can further be filtered on the basis of type and scope.
Notably, the newly implemented module supports private networks as well as the public VeChain Thor. Moreover, the release mentions that the platform’s robust document storage option allows users to “organize secure and traceable information exchange on a block-chain basis.”
Tremendous Interoperability
Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the announcement is regarding VeChain’s support for more than 80 enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The release reads:
“Thanks to the universal process engine, the innovative VeChain ecosystem has a generic connection to over 80 ERP systems (such as SAP S/4, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics, ABAS ERP, inforERP, …), edge devices, machine controls such as Siemens S7, cloud providers such as Salesforce, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and the user’s local environment. The embedding of VeChain transactions is easily done by Flow-Designer.”
The announcement was also re-tweeted by VeChain co-founder Sunny Lu, who expressed his interested to “find more” about it.
Interesting, I’d like to find more. https://t.co/hRPlkmeYko
