- Jaguar test runs a new project at its facility in Shannon, Ireland
- New project to reward drivers with IOTA tokens
- IOTA making considerable gains as a result of recent partnerships
According to a recent report by Reuters, one of Britain’s largest manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover, on Monday made it known that it had commenced testing of new software to be incorporated into new model vehicles such as the Jaguar F-PACE and the Range Rover Velar.
As per the report, the company says the goal of this project is to “achieve zero emissions, zero accidents, and zero congestions.”
New Project To Make Navigation Better and Reward Drivers
The project as announced is a project of Jaguar, a subsidiary of Tata Motors. Though there’s no particular timeline given the company is working hard to make sure it’s released as soon as possible.
Testing is currently ongoing at the Jaguar Land Rover software engineering facility based in Shannon, Ireland. After testing is over and the program is finally installed into proposed vehicles, drivers of these cars will be rewarded with MIOTA tokens as relevant data is gathered by these cars and sent to a general database where they are analyzed to improve navigational systems in these cars.
The program will feature a “smart wallet,” which enables drivers to accumulate their rewards – the MIOTA tokens – which can be used to settle toll fees, parking and charging costs for electric cars, among others.

Before that, IOTA had also made know its plans to enter an entirely new market – the North American market. This decision they say is to push the IOTA project across the Atlantic Ocean.
