- Days after embracing IOTA, Zeux payments platform has inked a partnership deal with Coinbase
- The deal will enable Coinbase to function as a crypto-fiat gateway for Zeux’s crypto payments services
- Zeux says its ZeuxCoin (ZUC) pre-sale event will begin in April 2019
Zeux, a payments app that claims to offer users a robust platform for carrying out zero-fee money transfers, foreign exchange and more, has joined forces with the leading U.S-based cryptocurrency exchange and trading venue, Coinbase, to enable the latter to serve as a crypto-fiat gateway for its cryptocurrency payments services, according to a blog post on March 26, 2019.
A Strategic Partnership
As stated in its post, Zeux has inked a strategic partnership deal with Coinbase crypto trading venue, as part of broader plans to promote wider crypto adoption across the globe.
With the collaboration, the highly reputed exchange which is currently valued at $8 million, will now become the primary crypto-fiat gateway of the Zeux payments ecosystem.
According to the team, the new agreement between both parties will be highly beneficial to the entire crypto community, as it would remove all barriers merchants face while trying to accept crypto payments.
Reportedly, the forward-thinking initiative will enable all users of Zeux resident in Europe to seamlessly convert their fiat euros to crypto and make payments via Zeux.
Commenting on the partnership, Andrew Robinson, European Head of Institutional Sales at Coinbase reiterated that:
“We are excited to collaborate with Zeux to deliver smooth fiat to crypto conversions to their European users. Moving from just a trading asset to a genuine day to day payment currency is a huge step for the mass adoption of cryptos.”
Robinson also stated that Coinbase’s partnership with Zeux is another huge milestone in its quest towards building an open financial system for the world.
Zeux Not Resting on its Oars
Accordingly, Zeux has revealed that its multi-purpose app will go live in Europe later in April 2019 and it will also launch the pre-sale of its ZeuxCoin (ZUC) on the Cobinhood token sale platform from April 2019.
As reported by Blockchain Reporter on March 21, 2019, Zeux announced plans to add support for IOTA (MIOTA), to enable Apple Pay and Samsung Pay merchants to accept the altcoin via the Zeux App.
While Zeux has already integrated QTUM into its app, the impending addition of IOTA (MIOTA) goes a long way to show the platform is genuinely dedicated to promoting mass adoption of blockchain-based digital assets.
If all goes as planned, it won’t be a surprise if Coinbase exchange eventually lists IOTA (MIOTA) and QTUM shortly.
