A Tremendous 2018 for ICON
The ICON project primarily aims to improve lives through “Connection.” ICON is a decentralized network different from centralized networks in existence. The ICON network allows each community to autonomously identify their policies and systems while allowing a reliable connection to other communities when necessary. In essence, ICON aims to bring connections a step closer through real-time transactions.
The ICON team is currently an active participant in the “Cultivating Innovative Youth Talents 2018” project supervised by Korea Institute for Information and Communications Technology Promotion (IITP) and Korea Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT).
Since September of 2018, ICON is providing a 6 month and 1000 hours of intensive curriculum for those students majoring in information and security and multimedia education at Baekseok University. ICON’s participation in government-sponsored projects is expected to keep job mismatches and youth unemployment problems to a minimum.
