Roboforex expanding crypto operations
According to the announcement, the service became effective on Thursday, November 22, when customers could make deposits. RoboForex already accepts for Bitcoin besides supporting over 40 other cryptocurrencies including the leading ones like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, NEO, and others. The company’s chief marketing officer Denis Golomedov stated:
“Our clients are actively using all our crypto products and services’ […] we launched BTC accounts earlier this year, and it was quite [a] successful service supply. ETH accounts launch is the result of our global effort invested towards the improvement of [our] crypto trading solutions.”
The company announced that traders wishing to use the Ethereum service to withdraw or deposit their holdings will have to use the company’s Ethereum platform. All their customers, whether they run prime accounts which affords “faster execution and tighter spreads” or Cents accounts that trade in “small amounts of cash” will have equal access to the new service.
However, the statement indicated that clients using cTrader and rTrader cannot access the Ethereum platform. Those trading on the more popular MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 will start buying and selling ethereum with RoboForex.
Three months later
RoboForex launched a service for depositing Bitcoin accounts with other cryptocurrencies in August 2018 which allowed their clients to deposit funds to their BTC accounts using other digital currencies. The amounts deposited in alternative cryptocurrencies would automatically be converted to Bitcoin according to the prevailing exchange rate. Talking about their motivation for the service, RoboForex CMO said:
“Considerable parts of our clients […] have assets in digital currencies other than BTC, which they now may use for depositing their BTC accounts. Our new solution will offer the company’s clients a convenient way to convert their assets into BTC and transfer funds between Wallets and accounts inside the system.”
Similar to the RoboForex Bitcoin deposit system, traders who use the Ethereum platform can deposit as little as 0.001 ETH, or $0.13.
RoboForex offers brokerage services all over the world and provides traders who work in financial markets with access to its proprietary trading platforms.
