- Rik Rapmund publicly reviews Vechain partnership with AWS
- Highlights of his tweets include AWS being better than Google and Microsoft clouds
- VeChain have not officially partnered with AWS but instead making use of each other’s infrastructure
Rik Rapmund started a tweetstorm detailing Vechain’s recent partnership with Amazon. He strongly believes that the partnership is not official but instead, it is a working product ranking highly on the world’s leading cloud – AWS.
On Feb 19, BlockchainReporter reported VeChain’s role on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud platform.
However, Rik Rapmund, Founder of a data-driven & decentralized recruitment ecosystem, has offered his take on VeChain launching a one-click solution into AWS Cloud platform which is intended to allow enterprises to deploy quick, transparent, and compliant blockchain applications. Rik’s stream of tweets are as follows.
AWS is better than Google and Microsoft
With enterprises moving their workloads from data centers onto the public cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) dominates the public cloud, with an impressive 41.5% of all infrastructure, this is over Microsoft and Google Cloud.

VeChain is brought on Board
Amazon had decided to start a new infrastructure, the AWS blockchain template last year. This is interesting as it is easy to deploy blockchain solutions for enterprises without blockchain technology. AWS is interested in having VeChain as its major service provider.
AWS China VP Alex Yung stated that they hope $VET will accelerate enterprise innovations with the implementation. @sunshinelu24 added that AWS would like to be part of the VeChain Ecosystem as key infrastructure service provider.https://t.co/n1eArBgQbv

VeChain’s DNVGL Vital for AWS
DNVGL will help to implement compliance certification and information security services. This is necessary as a bulk of personal and sensitive data is being uploaded to the AWS cloud. The main aim of these changes is to enable people to use the chain even without crypto knowledge.
So what does this 'implementation' entail? I'll explain the different services. Main goal of these connections: eliminating the big (technological) burden of using the blockchain for enterprises. Here it is again: allowing people to use the chain without any crypto knowledge.

AWS Infrastructure Collaborating with VeChain’s
Deploying the blockchain is made more accessible and fast by Amazon Cloudfront where it will be done with a single click and enterprises are not required to buy their own servers. Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud will allow them to deploy smart contracts on the VeChain Thor mainnet using Amazon virtual servers. Thus the setup cost is not significant, and they will have optimal flexibility and impressive performance.
Rik’s Verdict
This is not an official partnership but working on a product of the world’s leading cloud. This is the best chance that business owners will ever get to benefit from blockchain technology.
