In a significant development for the Web3 security landscape, GoPlus Security has successfully concluded its Series II+ private funding round, raising $4 million. The round saw participation from a consortium of leading venture capital firms, continuing the momentum from a previous funding round led by Binance Labs in 2022. This brings GoPlus Security’s total funding to $15 million, with contributions from renowned investors such as Binance Labs, SevenX Ventures, Redpoint China Ventures, Avalanche, and Crypto.com.
Eskil Tsu, Co-Founder of GoPlus Security, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This funding in our Private II+ round is not just a financial boost but a strong endorsement of our vision to redefine user security network in the Web3 space, in the Web3 way. I’m thrilled for the support and excited about the future we’re building together.”
Elevating Web3 Security
GoPlus Security is at the forefront of developing a security data infrastructure layer for the Web3 ecosystem. With the latest round of funding, the company is poised to expand its User Security Network, focusing on transparency and user empowerment. The initiative aims to provide open-access security data, allowing users to verify and trust the information, supported by a robust decentralized data and computing layer.
Moreover, GoPlus is set to launch an end-user service platform, SecWareX, which will collaborate with third-party User Security Services such as Harpio, Webacy, Kekkai, Trusta, and Wallet Guard. This move aims to position GoPlus as the leading provider of User Security Modules as a Service (USMaaS) across various blockchains, establishing a foundational layer for Web3 user security.
GoPlus’s Web3 User Security Network prioritizes transparency and user empowerment by offering permissionless security data and an end-user service environment. The company claims to have already fostered over 10,000 partnerships, with daily operations including 21 million User Security Data calls, supporting more than 20 public chains.
With the upcoming launch of SecWareX in early March, GoPlus is set to provide a customizable on-chain security experience for users. The GoPlus Token will play a crucial role within this ecosystem, facilitating operations and enhancing utility. The company remains committed to innovation and user-centric solutions in the Web3 security domain.
By encouraging community participation as SecWare Service Providers, Data Providers, and Computing Node Providers, GoPlus aims to enrich the overall User Security Network, offering rewards in the form of GoPlus Tokens. This latest funding round not only validates GoPlus Security’s contributions to Web3 safety but also empowers the company to further innovate and expand its services, ensuring a safer and more transparent Web3 experience for users worldwide.
