Moonstake announces a partnership with Astarter to accelerate the development of infrastructure for DeFi services on Cardano (ADA)
Moonstake is pleased to announce cooperation with Astarter, a Cardano-based DeFi infrastructure center, to accelerate the development of Cardano’s decentralized financial (DeFi) services infrastructure. Astarter is a joint venture backed by EMURGO, the Cardano blockchain protocol’s official commercial arm, which recently bought Infinity Blockchain Organization, the group responsible for Moonstake’s creation. Moonstake and Astarter are now collaborating to provide Moonstake users with priority access to Astarter’s service once it is released through a smooth native connection mechanism.
Moonstake began staking in 2020 with the goal of becoming Asia’s biggest staking network. Over 2,000 coins are supported through its user-friendly Web Wallet and Mobile Wallet (iOS / Android). There are now 14 staking currencies supported by Moonstake including ERC-721 and Cardano NFTs as well as Tezos and Cardano staking coins. Moonstake’s total staking assets reached $1.8 billion in June 2021, making it the world’s third best staking provider out of 15,000 staking providers. Muse.Finance, a DeFi platform, was launched in March 2021, and the firm will continue to develop into DeFi.
Launchpad, DEX, Money Market, and Tech Service Platform are the four primary applications of Astarter on Cardano. The project is a cooperative venture backed by EMURGO that combines Cardano’s technical skills and extensive network knowledge with external partners’ experience establishing DeFi technological infrastructures. Astarter develops decentralized financial apps for the Cardano ecosystem to deliver fair, secure, and accessible open finance services. Astarter will begin work on an initial decentralized exchange offering (IDO) launchpad before the end of the year, with a Cardano DEX to follow. Astarter intends to provide decentralized lending and borrowing (decentralized money market) on Cardano. These services seek to increase Cardano ADA users’ utility and provide financial services to more individuals in underserved areas.
