Andromeda, the protocol building a modular Web3 operating system on the Cosmos ecosystem, has appointed Dana Love, as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Partner. The appointment, effective from 18 April 2025, will bolster Andromeda’s technical roadmap and augment its AI and Web3 development efforts.

Dana Love has more than 35 years of experience in blockchain, distributed systems, AI, and crypto-economics. His appointment is likely to develop Andromeda’s ecosystem through the development of its modular operating system (aOS) and Andromeda Digital Objects (ADOs). Love will oversee the development of technical frameworks that boost the platform’s interoperability and scalability in different blockchain environments.
Extensive Experience in Blockchain and Distributed System
Love has held various leadership positions in cutting-edge technology companies throughout his career. His earlier exposure to AI in BrightDawn and big data in Infolob paved his way into blockchain. Since 2011, he has been a driving force in Web3 innovation, starting from his work at Blockstar, Lifetoken, Dyme Foundation, and Radpay.
His previous contributions include the architecture of distributed systems, including digital identity, agent-based computing, and ledger technology. He has also mentored Web3 projects like eLocations and Intellos, a sign of his wide-ranging influence in real-world asset tokenization, and algorithmic trading platforms.
Love is a PhD holder in Economics from the University of Glasgow and holds an MBA form Harvard Business School, graduating as a Baker Scholar. He has professional exit successes such as Metacloud Communications which he sold to Intelogistics, and Radnet, which he sold to Groove Networks.
Pushing Cosmos AI/ Web3 Integration
Love, as CTO, will be responsible for the technical development of Andromeda’s ecosystem, with specific emphasis on AI integration in its aOS and ADOs systems. His roles include driving technical scalability, increasing cross-chain compatibility, and enhancing developer experience.
His familiarity with the Cosmos SDK, Tendermint, and Ignite (achieved through previous roles at other Cosmos-tied projects) positions him to improve the place of the Andromeda sidechain in the greater interchain ecology. The organization intends to use his experience to increase developer adoption and maximize the performance of dApps on connected chains.
Besides, Love’s past leadership at Radpay and Feedback Networks entailed high-revenue growth, which can support Andromeda’s strategic interests in token utility and investor engagement. His vision includes removing barriers to the creation of decentralized applications through a unified operating system model.
