Crypto is a digital industry, but big deals and key meetings still happen face to face. For Web3 companies, the right conference can open doors to investors, partners and customers. These are conversations that are hard to have online.
But not every event draws the same crowd:
- Some conferences focus on deals with large institutions.
- Others focus on developers and protocols.
- A few have grown into huge, industry-wide gatherings.
This guide was updated on November 3, 2026. The 2026 events below have already taken place, so we mark them as past. Use them as a guide to what each event offers. Then plan around the 2027 dates.

1. KBW2026
Location: Seoul, South Korea
Dates: September 29-October 1, 2026 (past event)
Best for: International Web3 companies, the Korean market, Asian investors and growth in APAC (Asia-Pacific)
Korea Blockchain Week, known as KBW, has made Seoul a major stop on the global crypto conference circuit.
FACTBLOCK organizes KBW. The event links the global digital asset industry with the busy crypto markets of South Korea and Asia. The 2026 edition ran from September 29 to October 1 at Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts in Seoul. Upbit, a South Korean crypto exchange, was the main sponsor.
KBW is especially useful for global companies interested in Korea and wider Asia. It is not just an international conference held in Asia. It gives direct access to local exchanges, investors, companies and communities, alongside global guests.
The conference is only part of the draw. Side events, dinners, networking sessions and private meetings take place across Seoul all week. This turns KBW into a broader industry gathering.
Why it stands out: KBW offers something many global conferences cannot easily copy. It gives direct access to one of the world’s most active and distinctive crypto markets. Dates for KBW 2027 had not been confirmed in the sources we checked as of November 3, 2026.
2. TOKEN2049
Locations: Dubai and Singapore
Dates: Singapore, October 7-8, 2026 (past event). Dubai, April 21-22, 2027.
Best for: Global networking, investors, exchanges and major crypto companies
TOKEN2049 is one of the biggest events on the global crypto calendar. It has two main editions, one in Dubai and one in Singapore. The conference brings together founders, investors, builders, institutions, exchanges and other decision-makers from across the crypto industry.
Singapore 2026 (past event)
The Singapore edition has become especially important. The 2026 event took place on October 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands. Just before it opened, the organizers said it had sold out. They expected 25,000 attendees from 160 countries, 250 speakers and 500 exhibitors.
Dubai 2027 (upcoming)
The Dubai edition was first planned for April 2026. The organizers moved it to April 21-22, 2027. They cited uncertainty in the region and its impact on safety, travel and logistics.
TOKEN2049 also reaches beyond the main conference. During TOKEN2049 Week, the host city fills with hundreds of meetings, parties and side events around the official program.
Why it stands out: Few crypto conferences match TOKEN2049’s size or its high share of senior industry leaders.
3. Consensus
Location: Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, Florida
Dates: May 4-6, 2027
Best for: Institutions, regulation, investment and the broader digital asset industry
Consensus is one of the oldest names on the crypto conference circuit. CoinDesk organizes it. It has long brought together crypto businesses, banks and other financial firms, policymakers, investors and tech companies. That broad mix is still a big part of its appeal.
Recent editions have offered dedicated sessions on:
- Capital markets
- Bitcoin
- Policy and regulation
- DeFi (decentralized finance)
- Trading
- AI and blockchain development
Consensus is an important event for businesses interested in where crypto, traditional finance and regulation meet. This is especially true in the United States.
Why it stands out: Consensus mixes crypto, capital markets, policy and institutional finance. That makes it broader than many events focused on a single protocol or community.
4. EthCC
Location: Cannes, France
Dates: April 12-15, 2027
Best for: Ethereum, developers, protocols and technical Web3 teams
EthCC, the Ethereum Community Conference, has kept a strong technical and community feel. Ethereum France organizes it. The conference focuses closely on Ethereum and the ecosystem built around it. That makes it highly relevant for developers, protocol teams, infrastructure providers and founders building on Ethereum.
The event has also grown a lot. EthCC reported 6,500 attendees and more than 400 speakers for its 2025 edition, plus more than 250 side events. It was held in Paris for years and in Brussels in 2024. It moved to Cannes in 2025, which has been its home base since. The Palais des Festivals in Cannes says EthCC will stay there until 2028.
For teams more interested in builders and protocols than in big exhibition halls, EthCC remains one of Europe’s most important Web3 events. New to the network? Read our Ethereum vs Bitcoin guide first.
Why it stands out: Its audience of developers and Ethereum fans gives EthCC a very different feel from the industry’s largest commercial conferences.
5. Bitcoin 2027
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Dates: July 15-17, 2027
Best for: Bitcoin companies, investors, miners and Bitcoin-focused financial services
For companies that work only in the Bitcoin ecosystem, the Bitcoin Conference is in a class of its own. Broader Web3 events cover Ethereum, tokenization and DeFi. This event centers on Bitcoin and the businesses built around it.
That now includes a growing institutional side. Recent editions have paired the general program with dedicated sessions and networking for professional investors and companies.
This focus can be more useful than a broad blockchain event for:
- Bitcoin-native startups
- Miners
- Financial services providers
- Companies building Bitcoin products for institutions
Why it stands out: It offers one of the largest focused audiences for companies working in the Bitcoin economy. You can follow the market on our Bitcoin price page.
6. Signal Week (Formerly Paris Blockchain Week)
Location: Palais des Congrès, Paris, France
Dates: July 6-7, 2027
Best for: Institutional digital assets, traditional finance and tokenization
One of Europe’s best-known blockchain conferences is starting a new chapter. Paris Blockchain Week launched in 2019 and grew into a major European crypto event. It is now called Signal Week.
Signal Week puts more focus on where traditional finance meets digital assets. Key topics include tokenization, stablecoins and decentralized finance. Tokenization means turning assets like bonds or funds into tokens on a blockchain.
The organizers say past editions drew more than 10,000 attendees from over 100 countries. They say about 70% of guests held C-suite or other senior roles. The next Paris edition is set for July 6-7, 2027. It will be held alongside RAISE, an AI summit, in the same week.
The rebrand reflects a wider shift in crypto conferences. Events born in the early blockchain boom are moving toward institutional finance, payments and tokenized assets as the industry matures.
Why it stands out: The move from Paris Blockchain Week to Signal Week makes it a growing bridge between crypto-native companies and traditional financial institutions.
Which Blockchain Conference Should You Attend in 2027?
No single conference makes sense for every company. Here is a quick guide:
- For global crypto networking, TOKEN2049 is hard to ignore. Its next confirmed edition takes place in Dubai on April 21-22, 2027.
- Companies targeting South Korea and wider Asia should watch for the next edition of KBW. KBW2026 has already taken place.
- For Ethereum developers and protocol teams, EthCC offers a more technical setting.
- Bitcoin-focused businesses may get more value from Bitcoin 2027 in Nashville.
- Consensus remains especially relevant for companies interested in crypto, institutions and US policy.
- Signal Week is also worth watching as the former Paris Blockchain Week enters its next chapter under Hyve Group.
Projects and attendees should note that crypto conferences are becoming more specialized. Other events are also setting their 2027 plans. For example, Dutch Blockchain Week has announced its 2027 dates.
As digital assets move closer to mainstream finance, the biggest crowd no longer makes the best event. The most valuable event is the one that brings the right founders, investors, institutions, developers or customers together. For the latest industry news, visit our crypto news today page.
