The Bitcoin price is back on a path toward $250,000 in traders’ talk after the biggest buyers returned. Strategy added 1,665 BTC for $142.7 million between September 21 and 27 (Strategy, September 28), and U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $2.39 billion the same week (BeInCrypto).
Fundstrat’s Tom Lee still holds a $200,000 to $250,000 target, and with BTC at $85,329 on October 5, 2026 (CoinMarketCap), the gap is the story, and a Bitcoin run never stays with Bitcoin alone. Here is what it means for Ripple (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and the newcomer, Pepeto.
Bitcoin Price Path to $250,000: The Big Buyers Are Back
Bitcoin price is $85,329, up 0.46% in 24 hours, with a $1.71 trillion market cap according to CoinMarketCap, 34% under its October 2025 record of $126,198, and the money is walking back in.
Strategy now holds 847,666 BTC, and Strive added 1,107 BTC last week. Tom Lee’s $250,000 call rests on that buying against a 21 million coin cap.
When Bitcoin climbs toward $250,000, the win does not stop at BTC, because every big Bitcoin rally has pulled the altcoins along, and that sets up XRP, DOGE, and now Pepeto.
XRP Price Holds $1.50 Ahead of the Evernorth Vote
XRP price is $1.50 on October 5, 2026, up 1.05% in 24 hours, with a $94.6 billion market cap (CoinMarketCap). The level that matters is $1.50, because tomorrow, October 5, Armada shareholders vote on the merger that would put Evernorth, an XRP treasury holding about 473 million tokens, on Nasdaq as XRPN (CryptoPotato, September 28).
XRP ETFs pulled in $75 million in one week too, and a yes vote could push XRP toward its $3.84 record, but from a $94 billion cap a 2x takes time, and the people who made real money on XRP bought it under a dollar.
Dogecoin Price Pushes at $0.10 as ETF Money Sets a Record
Dogecoin price is $0.09489, up 1.84% in 24 hours, with a $16.3 billion market cap on October 5, 2026 (CoinMarketCap), and the level to watch is $0.10, the ceiling of recent weeks. U.S. spot Dogecoin ETFs took in a record $2.89 million in the week ending September 25 (BeInCrypto, September 27).
Whales bought 240 to 360 million DOGE over the same stretch, and the wild card is a clean break of $0.10, but at 87% below its $0.7376 record, a return to the old high is a 7x, and the buyers who got a 100x paid a fraction of a cent.
Pepeto: The 100x Meme Pick of This Cycle
Now the frog nobody should ignore: Pepeto. While DOGE and XRP hunt a 2x or 5x, analysts project Pepeto could return 100x. Pepeto built a zero fee exchange on Ethereum, PepetoSwap, already live with a 0.00% swap fee, MEV protection on by default, and $50 million of daily volume tested so far. Its bridge is live too, carrying tokens across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum in under 60 seconds for a $0 fee.
Its security scanner runs 42 detectors and test buys and sells on every contract, blocking anything critical. Behind it, the cofounder built the original Pepe coin, which hit an $11 billion market cap in December 2024, and a former Binance expert is on the dev team, so with a supply fixed at 420 trillion and a SolidProof audit and KYC, the project is built to last, not pump once.
The demand already shows, since the presale passed $11.1 million with over 43,000 holders and the current stage sells at $0.0000001899, and because stages end on a fixed date with the price stepping up at each close, holders can stake at 161% APY while they wait, with rewards claimable at listing.
And the God of Frogs Campaign gives $700,000 to seven winners for a $100 presale buy. Post launch: a Binance listing on the way, more exchanges to be named. That is why Pepeto is set up as this cycle’s biggest meme story.
Conclusion
A Bitcoin price run to $250,000 is the engine behind every altcoin rally. XRP could climb toward its old high, DOGE could finally clear $0.10, but Pepeto plays a different game. The big coins offer respectable gains because their caps already sit in the tens of billions, and a 100x on XRP would need $9 trillion.
Pepeto starts at a fraction of a cent with a fixed supply, live tools, and 43,000 holders in, the shape that produced the Pepe and SHIB fortunes. A 5x is fine, but the 100x math sits in plain view, and each stage closes on a schedule with the price moving up when it does. The people who act on that tell the story later.

FAQ
What does Bitcoin’s path to $250,000 mean for XRP, DOGE, and Pepeto?

What is the best crypto to buy for 100x in this cycle?
Pepeto is the best crypto to buy for 100x this cycle because it pairs a tiny presale price with a fixed supply, a live zero fee exchange and bridge, and a Binance listing approaching.
