Further demonstrating Bitcoin’s corporate appeal, London-based Smarter Web Company bought 295 $BTC for $35.2M on Tuesday. While a smaller purchase than MetaPlanet’s recent buy, it reinforces Bitcoin’s position as a core treasury asset for publicly traded companies.
Meanwhile, macroeconomic data from the US improves Bitcoin’s outlook even more, with revised employment figures and mild July inflation numbers boosting expectations for a September rate cut.
Analyst Says Bitcoin Breakout to $150K Incoming
Bitcoin and gold have taken turns in rallying since 2024, and now it’s time for Bitcoin to catch up after gold led Q2 2025, according to analyst Jelle.
“Slowly but surely, Bitcoin is catching up to Gold again. Gap closes at $150,000 – soon,” he wrote in a post on X on Tuesday.
Prominent analyst Rekt Capital echoed this bullish outlook on X, noting that Bitcoin has just landed its highest-ever daily close:
“BTC has Daily Closed above ~$120k (blue) for the first time ever, setting price up for a volatile retest of this level as well.”
The analyst also pointed out that Bitcoin has closed above a bull flag pattern, a sign of upward momentum that could enable a rally into new highs.
With institutional capital flooding in, macroeconomic factors favoring interest rate cuts, and Bitcoin’s price breakout, it’s clear that bulls are in control of the market.
