Arkham’s data discloses that BlackRock has resumed its Bitcoin accumulation after a pause for two weeks. As a result of the latest $BTC acquisition, the cumulative Bitcoin holdings of the platform have reached the 551,917.901 $BTC mark. This figure denotes a value of up to $51.73B in total. This significant upsurge highlights the active engagement of BlackRock in the crypto sector, even during market volatility.
BlackRock’s spot $BTC ETF iShares Bitcoin Trust ($IBIT) has made a significant contribution to the platform’s crypto strategy. Following its launch back in January last year, $IBIT has collectetd more than $50B in assets. This remarkable progress places it among the top-performing ETFs up till now. $IBIT’s rapid growth points toward the robust retail and institutional demand for a regulated exposure to Bitcoin.
Apart from BlackRock’s U.S. offerings, the platform is also planning to release a $BTC ETP to operate in Europe, particularly in Switzerland. This development focuses on rising demand for crypto investments within European region.
