Cheapest Crypto Prop Firms in 2026: Low-Fee Challenges Compared

Finding a cheap crypto prop firm challenge usually means comparing one number: the sticker price, which is the only figure a trader can check before paying anything. It’s also the number most likely to be discounted, bundled, or quietly raised the following week. This roundup lists what ten firms charged for a small evaluation account on the days this piece was checked, what that fee buys, and where the cheap number stops telling the whole story. Every price below carries the date it was checked: read from that firm’s own site, or, where the site blocked automated reads, from a named review page instead. Several prices changed between the first and second check. Check the live page before acting on any of them.

The Ten Firms

Crypto Fund Trader: 1-Phase From $40

Crypto Fund Trader is a simulated trading evaluation firm that gives traders the chance to prove their skills on Bybit’s real market data, with up to $300,000 in simulated capital and performance-based scholarship rewards on the line for those who pass. Reading the account-size cart forms directly off CFT’s own site, the $5,000 tier breaks down like this:

What the price doesn’t show: no maximum time limit and no minimum number of trading days on any line, drawdown measured on equity, and evaluations that run on Bybit via API, where CFT “does not add any markup, artificial spread, or fictitious slippage” to Bybit’s own price. KYC isn’t required to sit the Bybit evaluation, though it is mandatory before any scholarship reward is processed. According to CFT, traders have received more than $21 million in scholarship rewards to date, a self-reported figure with no third-party audit behind it.

Pipfarm: From $9 With Pay With Profits

PipFarm‘s standard evaluation runs from $40 for a $5,000 account, with a cheaper deferred-payment option:

The $9 option is the cheapest headline number in this list, with a catch: the deferred balance is still owed, just not before the challenge starts. Account sizes run to $300,000.

Blueberry Funded: Synthetic Challenge at $17.50

Blueberry Funded’s $5,000 Synthetic Challenge is currently discounted 30% off its list price:

Blueberry Funded lists seven challenge types in total, including Synthetic, 1-Step, 2-Step, and two Instant tiers, all carrying the same discount at the time of checking. Confirm the current rate before quoting it: this is exactly the kind of number that resets without notice.

Breakout: Turbo Plan at $20

Breakout, the crypto-native prop firm Kraken acquired in September 2025, prices its one-step Turbo evaluation like this:

The acquisition doesn’t mean Breakout routes trades through Kraken’s own exchange, the review notes. Turbo’s target-to-drawdown ratio is tight: a 9% profit target against 3% drawdown, the tradeoff for the low price and the missing second phase.

Rebelsfunding: Copper Account at $25 to $28

RebelsFunding’s own comparison page priced the same four-phase Copper $5,000 account differently across two checks:

A separate flash-sale banner also offered a $1,000 account for a few dollars. Treat $25 to $28 as the working range rather than either number alone, and confirm the exact figure at checkout. Four phases at 5% each is a slower route to reward eligibility than a two-phase firm, though RebelsFunding states no trading-day minimum.

Dna Funded: 2-Phase Challenge at $49

DNA Funded’s evaluation prices scale by account size and phase count:

DNA Funded’s own site returned server errors on repeated attempts to check directly. The entry fee is stated as non-refundable regardless of outcome, worth weighing against the firms above that refund or defer it.

Hyrotrader: One-Step Challenge at $59

HyroTrader’s own site lists these evaluation prices, and states plainly that traders “trade USDT perpetual futures across 700+ pairs directly on your own Bybit account” via API:

HyroTrader’s own site doesn’t display Two-Step pricing directly.

Mubite: 2-Step Challenge at $65

Mubite’s 2-Step evaluation is priced like this:

Mubite’s own homepage describes Bybit as one of two platforms a trader connects to after signing up, not the infrastructure Mubite itself runs on. Traders should confirm where their evaluation account executes before comparing it to firms that trade directly on an exchange.

Bitfunded: 2-Step Challenge at $79

Bitfunded’s evaluation prices run like this:

Account sizes run only to $150,000, the lowest ceiling of the firms compared here.

FX2 Funding: 2-Step Evaluation at $80

FX2 Funding’s 2-Step evaluation is priced at:

Its own site blocked repeated automated reads. The firm doesn’t sell a $5,000 tier, so its entry price isn’t directly comparable to the others. The fee is stated as refundable on a successful pass.

Every figure below is the cheapest listed rate for the smallest comparable account at the date checked, not a permanent price.

What the Sticker Price Leaves Out

A single number can’t show whether it comes back, or what it’s attached to.

• Refund terms vary by firm. HyroTrader and FX2 Funding both describe the fee as refundable on a pass; DNA Funded states its fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome.
• Discounted and list price are different things. Blueberry Funded’s $17.50 was 30% off a $25 list rate at the time of checking, the kind of figure that resets on its own schedule.
• Account minimums differ. FX2 Funding’s cheapest account is $10,000; every other firm here starts at $5,000, so its $80 entry isn’t the same comparison.
• Time limits and trading-day minimums aren’t priced in. CFT, Breakout’s Turbo plan, and RebelsFunding’s Copper program all drop deadlines or minimum trading days; other firms on this list may impose either.
• Execution venue matters more than the fee. It says nothing about whether an evaluation trades on a live exchange feed or a synthetic one.

FAQ

Is the cheapest crypto prop firm challenge always the best deal?

Not necessarily. A low fee that’s non-refundable on failure can cost more over several attempts than a higher fee that’s refunded on a pass.

Do cheap challenges use worse trading conditions?

Not inherently, but tighter drawdown limits are common on the lowest-priced tiers. Breakout’s $20 Turbo plan pairs a 9% target with 3% drawdown, a narrower margin than its pricier Classic tier.

Why does account size change the comparison?

A $10,000 evaluation costing $80 (FX2 Funding) isn’t cheaper than a $5,000 evaluation costing $65 (Mubite); it’s a different product at a different size.

Does a low evaluation fee affect the reward structure?

Not on the firms checked here. Reward or profit-split terms are set by account type, not by what a trader paid to start the evaluation.

Conclusion

Ten firms, ten fees, and no single one of them is stable enough to print as a permanent fact: that’s the pattern across every firm checked here, CFT included. The number worth remembering isn’t the dollar figure on the day this was written; it’s the question to ask before paying any of them: is the fee refundable, is the account size comparable, and does the evaluation trade against a real market or a synthetic one. Crypto Fund Trader’s Bybit-routed evaluations, fixed-scholarship Ascend option, and absence of a time limit are the specifics that hold up regardless of what the headline price does next month.
