Crypto.com Announces Support for Deposits of the Native USDC Token on Avalanche
On the 6th of July this year, the crypto exchange platform noted on its official website that it has executed a successful listing of the USDC on Avalanche. This is known as a significant move to provide more options to consumers at Crypto.com. The inclusion of this token enhances the increasing list of more than two hundred and fifty supported crypto tokens and stablecoins supported by the crypto exchange.
The respective huge list of digital tokens takes into account prominent names such as Bitcoin (BTC), Cronos (CRO), VeChain (VET), Chainlink (LINK), Polkadot (DOT), and Ether (ETH). With this move, the consumers will be provided with several additional opportunities that they can leverage with USDC. This development would additionally play a crucial role in diversifying the portfolios of the clients.
Nonetheless, the platform also discussed another crypto token called USDC.e. In this respect, the crypto exchange differentiated between the native USDC and the USDC.e tokens. According to the company both these tokens differ from each other on Avalanche.
Withdrawals and Deposits in USDC.e Are Still Unsupported
Particularly, the USDC.e token is known as the Ethereum-based USDC token’s bridged form through the Avalanche Bridge. On the other hand, the Circle is responsible for issuing the native USDC token on Avalanche. Furthermore, crypto.com disclosed that it does not support the withdrawals and deposits of the USDC.e token on Avalanche anymore.
