$ENIS, a meme coin based on the fictional character Peter Enis, has gone live on the Solana blockchain. The entertainment-focused project originated from a Telegram joke involving the command ‘/p enis,’ which would normally trigger a bot response indicating that no such coin was available.
As per $ENIS’s official announcement, the creator leveraged the joke to create the fictional character “Peter Enis” to serve as the centerpiece of an interactive meme coin experience. Currently, the $ENIS coin is live via Pump.fun, merging a laughable theme with a market-cap-focused interactive feature for meme coin communities.
Peter Enis ‘Final Form’ to Unlock at $2B in Market Cap
As the project’s website points out, $ENIS currently possesses a market cap of up to $4,300, whereas the displayed price thereof is almost $0.000004 at the time of writing article. At the same time, the latest twenty-four-hour trading volume of the meme coin now stands at $64. Additionally, the website incorporates live market data, with Peter’s reactions changing according to movements in the project’s market cap.
The biggest joke built into the experience is linked to a hypothetical $2B market cap. If $ENIS should ever reach that level, the website is designed to reveal Peter Enis’ hidden ‘final form.’ The project presents this as a humorous Easter egg rather than a market cap goal or target.
Meme Coin Launches for Entertainment-Only Purpose
The creator got the idea from seeing the repeated use of the “/p enis” command on Telegram and noticing its association with the bot response. So, the concept of developing a fictional meme character emerged, leading to the $ENIS coin. The launch of the project took place without any presale, while also clarifying the unavailability of the token allocation for the creator.
According to the $ENIS coin’s website, users are not going to receive equity, profit-sharing rights, asset ownership, dividends, or any such claims for holding the coin. The project is for community and entertainment purposes, while being subject to high volatility in the crypto market.
The project further emphasizes that the entirely fictional Peter Enis does not intend to reference or represent any real person. Overall, just like the rest of the meme coins, the future of $ENIS relies mainly on trading activity, community interest, and the wider market sentiment.
