Guarda Wallet is the first web-desktop based non-custodial wallet to support XDC Network-based XRC20 token assets. This new feature is available on web, desktop and mobile versions of the wallet.
The news comes as Guarda continues to interoperate with the XinFin XDC Network in order to expand the ecosystem. Earlier this year, Guarda wallet users could purchase XDC coins with a bank card through the app for a range of 50 different currencies. A dual partnership with the established fiat provider Simplex made this deal possible.
‘We are always looking to expand our assets and offer quality support for the blockchains we believe in. We have been partnering with XinFin XDC Network since early 2020 and so far our users really appreciate all the great work that’s been completed by the XinFin team, and the XDC community loves using their XDC on Guarda’, – Elizabeth Saul, Business Developer for Guarda Wallet, shared with us. – ‘It was only natural to further expand the XDC wallet features on our platform by allowing users to send, receive and safely store a range of XDC-powered tokens on Guarda.’
As for XDC staking, ‘it is definitely something our users are interested in, although the implementation depends on several factors. But we are doing our best to deliver it as soon as possible.’
“We greatly appreciate Guarda’s support for the growing XDC Ecosystem. Guarda continues to serve as a prominent community leader, providing both the technology and the integrations for the XDC community to further engage with the ecosystem.” – Bill Sebell, XinFin Head of Ecosystem Development shared.
