Injective has introduced Meta ($META) stock on blockchain, bringing new tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) to its lineup. Through its iAssets framework, Injective enables Meta Platforms Inc., Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, the parent company, so that users worldwide can access Meta onchain. The integration allows decentralized exposure to a leading tech stock without traditional intermediaries.
This follows the previous listing among other well-known equities, like Nvidia ($NVDA), Google ($GOOGL), Tesla ($TSLA), and MicroStrategy ($MSTR). These assets are now being traded on Helix, the decentralized application built on Injective. The model is being built to enable the iAsset tokenization model, which gives global users one-click access to these stocks anywhere in the world, and they engage with equities onchain seamlessly.
Utility and Trading Access Through iAssets
These iAssets are designed to be programmable financial instruments. With the launch of the $ META onchain, $META provides organic protocols to launch DeFi lending, derivatives trading, and yield-generating strategies. Furthermore, they open access to 24/7 trading without centralized exchange or trading hours limitations.
$META introduces network-wide liquidity without fragmentation to multiple platforms.
