KuCoin has launched a new social trading campaign designed to give stronger traders more visibility and make copy trading easier to navigate for users who are looking to learn from proven market participants. The exchange announced the Elite Trader Premier Program today, describing it as a step toward a more transparent and discovery-focused social trading ecosystem.
KuCoin said the initiative is meant to help high-potential traders gain earlier recognition while also making experienced traders easier to find across the platform. The timing of the launch fits into a broader push by KuCoin to structure social trading around performance rather than just participation.
According to the company, the new program lowers the barrier for eligible users who want to start lead trading, even if they do not yet have a long history in that role. Progress within the program is based on a transparent tiering system that tracks performance and engagement. This gives traders a clearer path to build credibility through actual activity on the exchange.
That tier system is at the center of the campaign. KuCoin’s event page says the program runs from April 1, 2026, at 8:00 UTC to May 4, 2026, at 8:00 UTC, and it is open to users with VIP levels 0 through 4. Lead traders are evaluated weekly, with profit-sharing rates rising as they move up the tiers.
The top level offers up to 30% profit sharing and a monthly bonus of up to 600 USDT. Lower tiers begin at 10% and scale upward through 12%, 15%, and 20% before reaching the highest payout level. KuCoin is also tying the program to reward mechanics that are meant to encourage early participation and audience building.
The exchange said traders can receive 300 USDT for their first lead trade, and another 300 USDT once they attract three qualified copiers. It also said the first 50 eligible lead traders to complete their first trade each day can receive a 300 USDT copy trading trial fund, while the overall prize pool for the newcomer bonus portion of the event is 500,000 USDT.
In addition, the company said the program includes exposure opportunities through ranking visibility, official social channels, and KuCoin Live, giving traders more chances to build a following and present their market views to a wider audience.
More Accessible Copy Trading Experience
For users who follow traders rather than lead them, the pitch is straightforward: a more accessible copy trading experience with better visibility into who is actually worth following. KuCoin framed the move as part of a healthier community model in which trader expertise is easier to discover and the relationship between traders and followers becomes stronger.
The company said that by aligning trader development with community learning and platform visibility, it wants to create a social trading environment where participation is more open and long-term ecosystem value can continue to grow.
The announcement also lands against the backdrop of KuCoin’s wider push to present itself as a larger, more established global trading venue. The exchange says it has 40 million global users and more than 1,000 listed tokens, and describes itself as a platform focused on secure and efficient value transfer worldwide.
KuCoin was founded in 2017, and it continues to expand its compliance and security posture while building out its product suite, which includes copy trading among its broader offerings. For KuCoin, the Elite Trader Premier Program looks less like a simple promo and more like an attempt to shape how social trading should work on a large crypto platform.
Instead of rewarding only volume or one-off participation, the exchange is leaning into visibility, credibility, and community reach. If the program gains traction, it could become a useful model for how exchanges attract traders, help new users learn faster, and turn copy trading into something that feels a little more organized and a lot more transparent.
