Ledger Partners with THORChain to Offer Protected Non-Custodial Swaps with Top Crypto Assets
Along with its announcement on X, Ledger also published a blog post on its official web portal to provide details. It mentioned that its integration with THORChain enables swaps on $WBTC, $DAI, $USDC, $USDT, $ETH, and $BTC. THORChain also permits consumers to enjoy low slippage while trading across chains without MEV or frontrunning. This could reportedly facilitate consumers executing big transfers, especially with $BTC.
As a part of this collaboration, support for additional ERC-20 coins will also be provided in the future. This takes place through Ledger Live Desktop, without requiring leaving the application, creating an exclusive account, or undergoing KYC. As the Ledger Exchange app secures transfers end to end, users can always execute high-value $BTC swaps with Ledger. Ledger revealed that it leveraged SwapKit.dev to complete the integration. SwapKit.dev serves as a software development kit apart from an API. It abstracts the complications of services at THORChain with an efficient infrastructure, guaranteeing enterprise-level performance.
The Partnership Enables Secure, Decentralized, and High-Volume Crypto Swaps
According to Ledger, those who already utilize ledger Live Desktop can conveniently access THORChain. They just need to start a swap. Hence, they can select THORChain from the swap providers. As a result of the integration between Ledger and THORChain, Ledger Live consumers can get an exclusive option. It deals with secure, decentralized, and high-volume crypto swaps. Irrespective of the swap provider chosen by the users, they can leverage competitive pricing along with an unparalleled experience.
