Today’s market has started rather slowly as the global market cap rose by a 0.22% as of writing, taking it to $1.19T. Bitcoin (BTC) has seen a mild decrease of 1% as bears try for a comeback from a bullish week.

Bitcoin’s trading volume is currently at $24B after seeing a 37% rise in the last 24 hours. However, Bitcoin’s volatility levels are increasing as the Bollinger bands continue to diverge from each other, indicating increasing volatility.

However, the relative strength indicator is closing in on the average line, signalling bear efforts on BTC, as the MACD indicator is also coming close to its average line, again showing the bear desire by bears for dominance despite efforts by the bulls to reclaim the markets.

Altcoin analysis

Ripple (XRP) has kicked off the day badly as the asset records a 1% drop within a day of trading, taking its price to $0.4702 as of press time, while Cardano (ADA) recorded a 0.9% increase within the same period to take its price to $0.2852 within the same period. Tron (TRX) has also gained a slight 1% within the same period, taking its price to $0.0765.

Unitrade (TRADE) is dominating today’s session, however, with massive gains as the asset now sits on a 46% gain within a day of trading to take its price to $0.005059 as the market cap now stands at 99.54K as the trading volume stood at $133.97M.

Polygon (MATIC) is also dominating today’s session with a mild 1% gain within a day of trading to take its price to $0.6562. Amid the gain, MATIC’s trading volume is 55% up, now at $451M. Solana (SOL) is also having a bad ending to the week as the asset is still down 1.8%, ahead of a 6% gain in valuation from its previous week’s pierce as the asset now trades at $18.25.

However, Litecoin (LTC) dominates today’s session with massive gains of 12% within 24 hours, as the weekly gain currently stands at 16%. Trading at $106 as of press time, LTC’s trading volume had seen a 203% rise within the same period.

eCash (XEC) is another notable gainer today as the asset sits on massive gains of 31% within a day of trading to take its price to $0.00004188, as the weekly gain now stands at 63%. The asset’s monthly gain is also now at 71%.
