Josh Sell, formerly of Tinder where he served as Chief Product Officer, has been signed on as the new Chief Operating Officer for N3twork Studios. N3twork Studios is a blockchain game developer and publisher. The company is composed of veteran game developers that have worked for companies such as EA, Kabam, Zynga, Glu, Disney, and others. Josh will be helping the team at N3twork Studio to speed the development of its next Web3 RPGs, Legendary: Heroes Unchained and Triumph, which are both scheduled for worldwide release in 2023.
During his time at Tinder, Josh oversaw the implementation of a plethora of features, the most notable of which was perhaps the “Explore Tab,” which presented a brand new method for singles all over the world to locate potential matches. Josh had previously worked in a similar product leadership role at Glu Mobile, which is a company that specializes in the gaming industry. There, he was in charge of the development of the popular Deer Hunter franchise.
He was able to revive the game at a time when its prominence was waning and convert it into one of the highest-grossing hits in the industry. In addition to that, he has held the positions of Vice President and General Manager at King, where he oversaw the Farm Heroes franchise, as well as the position of General Manager of Mobile at NCSoft. Josh’s most recent endeavor had him helping to develop an innovative Web3 gaming startup called Midnight. While there, he was the one who established the interoperability strategy for that particular company.
