The Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are now ready to trade in a functional capacity on Uniswap. As of today, you will be able to trade NFTs across key marketplaces. This will give users access to a broader range of listings and better prices. This change will take effect immediately. Additionally, Uniswap will send an airdrop of around $5 million USDC to customers who have already purchased Genie. It will also offer gas reimbursements to the first 22,000 customers who make a purchase.
Uniswap also Cuts the Gas Fees for Customers
Uniswap is an aggregator, which shows listings from all of the significant NFT marketplaces, such as OpenSea, Sudoswap, X2Y2, and LooksRare, among others. This allows users to find exactly what they’re looking for quickly and easily. They will be able to get the best prices on the broadest range of NFTs that are currently on the market. Additionally, it brings down the cost of gas.
Compared to other NFT aggregators, Universal Router’s most recent smart contract could save anywhere from 10% to 15% on gas costs. When compared to other markets, this has the potential to save the company’s consumers tens of thousands of gas units.
Uniswap will Bring Together 8 NFT Markets
Scott, the Head of NFT Product at Uniswap, said in a tweet that the NFT marketplace aggregator that will be released soon will bring together eight different markets. Uniswap has previously created a smart contract known as Universal Router. This contract allows users to swap ERC-20 tokens and buy NFTs in the same transaction. It is shown on the GitHub website for Universal Router that it would enable NFT sales in a total of eight different markets. Some of these marketplaces are OpenSea, X2Y2, LooksRare, and SudoSwap.
