Stablecoin payments company RedotPay said on September 28 that it received an unqualified, or “clean,” audit opinion from a Big Four accounting firm covering its consolidated financial statements for the two years ended December 31, 2025. The Hong Kong-based firm, which announced the result in a company statement, framed the milestone as part of preparing for a potential future public listing and said the figures were prepared under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
A clean opinion under US GAAP
The company said the independent auditor returned an unqualified opinion, the most favorable outcome of a financial statement audit, and concluded that the group’s consolidated statements were fairly presented under US GAAP as issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board. RedotPay did not name the Big Four firm that performed the work, and the review covered two full fiscal years of results across the group.
Compliance groundwork ahead of a possible listing
The financial audit follows a separate independent review of RedotPay’s anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing controls by a Big Four firm that the company disclosed earlier in September. RedotPay has also been expanding its U.S. regulatory footprint, most recently obtaining two state lending licenses in a push that followed its first money transmitter license. The company has framed these steps as building the foundations that support its products, operations, and long-term growth.
A step toward a U.S. listing
Audited financial statements are a routine prerequisite for a U.S. IPO prospectus, and the clean opinion marks a concrete step in the company’s listing preparations. RedotPay’s path toward a listing has drawn scrutiny after earlier reports pushed its timeline to 2027 or later amid an outstanding legal claim, and the company has not named a listing date. The audit does not resolve that dispute, but it removes one accounting hurdle that a prospective filing would otherwise have to clear.
Scaling with oversight
RedotPay described the audit as a reflection of how it thinks about accountability, arguing that its standards should be regularly tested by qualified, independent professionals. The company said it intends to keep building the systems, controls, and reporting needed to support what it calls a trusted and durable business, as it continues to expand a stablecoin payments network that lets customers spend and send digital dollars in everyday commerce.
