- Render ranked first in gaming social activity, with FLOKI taking the second place
- FLOKI and APE followed closely with strong community engagement and thousands of social posts.
On April 11, 2025, Render (RNDR) was ranked as the most popular gaming project in terms of social activity, according to data shared by Phoenix Group through LunarCrush. The report compiled the details of engaged posts and interactions of multiple blockchain gaming projects within 24 24-hour timeframe.
Render recorded 3,400 engaged posts and a massive 398,600 interactions. This can be attributed to the increasing interest from investors and an active community that keeps the project in the limelight.
FLOKI took second place and got 3,100 posts with an engaged audience and 367,000 interactions. While APE was third, with 3K engaged accounts and 235,400 interactions, which indicates that the top-tier gaming tokens are quite viable contenders.
VRA, IMX, and Beam Record Notable Growth
Verasity (VRA) followed as the fourth most active, with 2,300 posts and 137,800 interactions on the social media platforms. ImmutableX (IMX) closely trailed behind with 1,700 involved posts and 337,200 interactions. Beam also occupied one of the top positions; it received 1,700 involved posts and 122,200 interactions.
The numbers suggest that minor gaming projects attract more market interest through community engagement and online discourse.
The last top-ranked tokens were Zent, Naka, SuperVerse, and Axie Infinity (AXS). Zent had 1,600 engaged posts and 98,300 interactions, while Naka had 1,500 posts with 144,200 interactions. SuperVerse reaches 1,200 posts and creates 191,500 interactions, in contrast to AXS, which reaches 1,200 posts but only 64,800 interactions.
Social Metrics Highlight Market Sentiment
Engaged posts refer to the number of posts that actually get likes, comments, retweets, and upvotes. A high interaction rate usually brings more attention and support from the communities, which are essential elements for the adoption of the token for the gaming industry.
This can be attributed to the fact that Render has established a leading position in social media, possibly indicating that it can exert some control over trading activity in the future. However, FLOKI and APE remain focused on maintaining visibility with engaged communities in a highly saturated gaming industry. Increased activity in other smaller projects like VRA and IMX is indicative of investors shifting towards new gaming platforms.
DappRadar, a blockchain analytics firm, also noted that the number of funding deals went up during the first quarter of 2025 while the funding amount went down drastically.
Web3 gaming projects raised $91 million in funding in the first three months of 2025. This is a significantly lower figure by 71% to Q4 2024 and a negative change of 68% compared to the same period in 2024. In its State of Blockchain Gaming report dated April 10, DappRadar characterized the period as ‘the mixed bag for the sector.’
