Solana has become one of the market’s best performing altcoins following Bitcoin’s recent surge. After meeting resistance at $180 SOL surged to over $200 causing a huge increase in trading volume.

Solana Passes $200
Following a sudden rally Solana has passed $200 for the first time since April 2024. This has caused Solana’s daily trading volume to rocket by 17% to $5.68 billion.
This is just one of several milestones Solana has achieved over the past week. Just days ago Solana flipped BNB to become the markets 4th largest cryptocurrency by market cap. At the time of writing SOL was trading at $203 with a market cap of $95.73 billion. Should bullish trends continue, Solana could reach a market cap of $100 billion before the end of 2024.

While Sui hasn’t seen the same returns as Solana investors believe its price could surge following a new partnership with Trace.
