Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of the top stablecoin issuer, Tether, has recently highlighted the institutional skepticism around Bitcoin ($BTC) adoption. As per Paolo Ardoino, institutions are still hesitant when it comes to adopting $BTC. He considers the lack of knowledge as the key factor behind this fear.
Additionally, he argued that the leading crypto asset is becoming a significant hedge against worldwide economic instability, while the conventional financial mechanisms are facing heightened uncertainty.
Tether CEO Urges Bitcoin Adoption Amid Institutional Fear
The Tether CEO pointed out that, because of the lack of proper guidance about how Bitcoin ($BTC) works, institutions are reluctant to adopt it. According to him, Bitcoin is continuously evolving into a robust hedge against the economic uncertainty.
Keeping this in view, this is an early hesitation, signalling a crucial opportunity before the broader adoption that could trigger a wide-scale pump. Apart from that, the role of Bitcoin as a hedge has gained notable attention, and the analysts predict it to ultimately dominate the mainstream and retail markets.
Tether CEO considers it necessary to broaden Bitcoin education to increase its utility. At the same time, this ignorance is bliss for massive Bitcoin ($BTC) accumulation before institutions swarm in.
Paolo Ardoino Predicts Solid Bitcoin Upside amid Strong Performance
At the moment, Bitcoin ($BTC) is changing hands at $87,552.87. This accounts for a 1.34% price increase over the past 24 hours. Along with that, the market capitalization of the leading cryptocurrency stands at $1.74T, denoting a 1.35% rise. However, the weekly and monthly price performance thereof denote 7.83% and 21.24% dips.
According to Paolo Ardoino, the current reluctance among the institutions denotes a great opportunity for the adoption of the leading coin. In this respect, the spot market is getting considerable momentum. As a result, those recognizing Bitcoin ($BTC) a hedge against inflation in long term could avail themselves of this opportunity before next bull run.
