The NFT sector continues to grow as the blockchains are making record gains with non-fungible tokens (NFTs). As per data shared by Phoenix, a prominent crypto analytical platform, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana have emerged as the top blockchains based on their sales of NFTs during this week.
The other top chains in this respect include Mythos, Immutable, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Blast, Flow, Panini, and Cardano. The remarkable volumes of their NFT sales signify a significant increase in investor interest in non-fungible tokens. Additionally, it could also denote an upcoming big move in the NFT sector.
Ethereum Leads Top Blockchains Lead Weekly NFT Sales Surge
Phoenix Group’s list of prominent blockchains having maximum sales of NFTs throughout the week takes into account Ethereum as the top name. The blockchain witnessed a stunning $116,342,235 in sales over 122,658 transfers. On the other hand, these sales were carried out by 43,850 sellers and received by 47,323 buyers.
The 2nd well-known chain with huge NFT sales is Bitcoin which saw $25,620,060 over 55,399 transfers. Particularly, these sales accounted for 36,023 sellers and 33,269 buyers. Solana is the 3rd player on the list with NFT sales of up to $17,923,628 in total that occurred via 161,431 transfers. These transactions included 146,172 buyers and 113,117 sellers in total.
 The 4th position is obtained by Mythos which recorded 574,716 transfers, leading to sales of almost $13,006,097. Immutable stands on the 5th rank with $6,935,493 in sales over 10,082 transfers. Subsequently, 108,314 NFT transactions took place on Base, accounting for sales of up to $6,815,450.
Flow Secures 10th Position with Total Volume of $1,285,782 in Weekly NFT Sales
According to the data provided by Phoenix Group, Polygon’s NFT sales this week accounted for $3,329,367 through 108,025 transfers. BNB Chain’s weekly NFT sales added $1,646,313, accounting for nearly 6,806 transactions.
Additionally, Blast received $1,374,720 in NFT sales in 24,270 transactions. Following that, Flow occupies the 10th place with its NFT sales reaching $1,285,782 in approximately 88,975 transactions.
