The three-month championship brings Hyperliquid and Decibel traders together. They can win cash prizes and rare Ferrari Formula 1 trips to Suzuka. It comes as tokens open up access to global markets.
Tria is the self-custodial financial platform for trading, yield and payments. Today it announced the launch of the Tria Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix is a three-month global perpetual futures trading competition. It offers $120,000 in prizes. The grand prize is a three-day Ferrari F1 Paddock Club experience for each of the competition’s two top eligible traders. It takes place at the 2027 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix.
The contest runs from October 16, 2026, through January 16, 2027. It joins perpetual futures trading on Hyperliquid and Decibel in one contest on Tria.
Participants will compete across nine cash-prize rounds and a season-long leaderboard. The two winners will receive Ferrari Paddock Club access for the April 9–11 Formula 1 race weekend at Suzuka Circuit. This includes:
- Top hospitality with a view over the Ferrari team garage
- Pit-lane access
- Other F1 experiences
How the Tria Grand Prix Works
The Tria Grand Prix counts trades on both Hyperliquid and Decibel. These are two decentralized exchanges for perpetual futures. Both are built into the Tria app.
Trades that qualify on either venue in Tria count toward the same standings. Traders can compete in crypto markets and in markets linked to classic assets. They do not need to switch apps.
Prizes and Rewards
The contest has nine cash rounds, season rewards and daily Gacha raffles:
- $90,000 in USDC prizes: Nine competition rounds, each awarding $10,000 in USDC.
- Ferrari F1 Paddock Club: One three-day Ferrari Paddock Club experience for each of the top two qualifying championship traders at the 2027 Japanese Grand Prix.
- Championship rewards: Gacha packs awarded by qualifying championship rank, plus one month of VIP 7 status for the top 20 qualifying traders.
- Daily raffle: One $50 Gacha pack awarded each day through a raffle.
Eligibility and Championship Rankings
Entry is automatic. Users join by making trades that count. These are perpetual futures trades that pay a fee. They must be made through Tria on Hyperliquid or Decibel. No sign-up is needed.
Only trades made through the Tria app count toward the standings.
Season ranks are based on total trading volume that counts. To win any season reward, a trader must reach at least $5 million in cumulative eligible trading volume during the competition. Rewards include the Ferrari Paddock Club trips, Gacha packs by rank and VIP 7 perks.
This threshold refers to total trading activity. It is not a minimum deposit or account balance. The nine single cash-prize rounds have their own qualification rules.
The two top traders who qualify will win three-day Ferrari Paddock Club trips. These are at the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, April 9–11, 2027.
The Suzuka finale will take the championship to one of Formula 1’s most celebrated circuits. The winners will get access to Ferrari’s race-weekend hospitality and a view of the action from the venue.
A Global Championship for a New Era of Financial Markets
The Tria Grand Prix launches as tokens and onchain finance open up access to markets. For a long time, these markets were kept apart by borders, middlemen and local trading systems.
Tria is seeing this shift firsthand.
- Traders in Japan and South Korea use the platform to access U.S. equity- and commodity-linked markets.
- Users in markets such as the United Arab Emirates can gain exposure to Korean stocks through onchain trading instruments.
These cross-border chances show how global finance is changing. Investors more and more expect access to markets outside their home countries. They do not want separate brokerage accounts, split-up systems or many trading apps.
Tria puts Hyperliquid and Decibel in one app where users hold their own funds. This links crypto trading with trades tied to stocks and other classic assets. It also brings people from many markets into one global contest.
“Someone in Japan or Korea can trade exposure to American stocks and commodities, while someone sitting in Dubai can access markets linked to Korean equities. That is a profound change in how global financial participation works,” said Vijit Katta, Co-Founder and CEO of Tria.
“Tokenization is breaking down the geographic barriers that have historically determined which markets people can access. We’re building for a world where capital can move across markets as easily as information moves across the internet.
The Tria Grand Prix brings that vision to life by putting traders from different parts of the world into the same championship, with the chance to finish the season inside Ferrari’s F1 Paddock Club at Suzuka.”
One App for Trading, Yield and Payments
The contest also shows how Tria’s wider app links tasks that used to need separate services.
Users can trade across supported markets, manage digital assets, earn yield and make payments through the same self-custodial app. Tria’s cross-chain infrastructure supports these services.
Tria has grown to more than 600,000 users across over 150 countries. The figure reflects demand for financial apps that combine global reach, asset control and access to many markets.
The Grand Prix will bring these users from around the world into one contest. It will also show more about how people in each region use onchain trading and classic markets.
