Unizen project and it’s ZenX incubator will support first-ever crypto-funded mission to the moon with Geometric Energy partnership.
Partnership
Unizen, a leading smart exchange ecosystem, and its CeDefi incubator, ZenX, have announced a cooperation with Geometric Energy Corporation. Notably, the companies collaborated to support the first crypto-funded journey to the moon, developer, and unveil DOGE-1.
The three teams will collaborate to build and launch DOGE-1, the first mission to the Moon solely funded by digital assets. In this mission, a 40 kg device, Cubesat, will reach stable lunar orbit. Using its onboard sensor and camera array, the spacecraft will gather lunar-spatial data and send it to researchers. Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC) will provide equipment and software for communications.
Noga added that the company is pleased to incubate and onboard the XI Protocol of GEC to strategic partners. Most importantly, this is a huge milestone for partners since it will be the first crypto-sponsored spacecraft.
GEC’s participation in the SpaceX mission marks a major milestone for cryptocurrency and DeFi. DOGE-1 mission is a history-making event for the entire DeFi community. Together, GEC and SpaceX will launch the first spacecraft that is funded entirely with crypto assets. The potential of DeFi in financing scientific advancements is employed to bring DeFi values to space exploration.
