Huge Success Of The First GAM3 Awards
The GAM3 Awards were officially announced for the first time on October 23. Since then, hundreds of different Web3 games have requested that their communities put them forward for nomination and voting in a variety of categories. An estimated total of over 11 million people or more were introduced to thousands of social posts that were dispersed across partners, games, media sources, content creators, and community members.
The final selections were partially determined by voting from the community, which totaled more than 250,000 votes across all 16 categories. More than 40,000 different voters took part, and more than 13,000 tweets with the hashtag #GAM3Awards were posted.
The evaluation of video games was carried out using criteria such as the central loop, the graphics, the accessibility, the replayability factor, the fun components, and the overall playing experience. To be included, games needed to incorporate and make use of blockchain technology, but the primary focus was on how well the games played.
A worldwide jury consisting of gaming, media, and Web3 outlets was tasked with selecting the nominees for each category. These outlets were picked for their ability to maintain objectivity and their concentration on quality. Each publication that participated in the voting completed a confidential ballot that was not ranked and was based on the compiled and varied opinions of its entire editorial staff. Each publication listed its top five picks in each category on this ballot.
A number of highly anticipated Web3 games, such as Blocklords, Mythic Protocol, Cards of Ethernity, Mummy.io, and Elarium, were among those whose exclusive gameplay footage was presented at the GAM3 Awards. In addition, a number of additional Web3 games decided to use the event to display their impending announcements as well as gameplay footage that had not yet been made public.
