Earlier this year, Ankr and Microsoft joined forces to bring Enterprise RPC services to Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace. After successful integration and testing, Ankr has officially released the service. Azure’s extensive customer base can now access blockchain infrastructure through the platform. The RPC service provides global connectivity and low-latency blockchain connections, allowing enterprises to focus on developing and expanding their Web3 projects and applications.
Ankr and Microsoft have also expanded their partnership with AppChains. The solution allows enterprises to launch dedicated, fully customizable blockchains for their Web3 initiatives. The service is now available on Azure Marketplace alongside Enterprise RPC.
At launch, enterprises can use the platform to deploy their own Polygon Supernets. Additional ecosystems are planned, giving businesses more options for different use cases.
Kev Silk, Ankr AppChains Lead, said: “As the Ankr AppChains product finds a fit with large organizations, Ankr and Microsoft are joining forces to evolve our AppChain offering into an ‘Enterprise Chain’ solution.”
“As we provide complete engineering, infrastructure, and go-to-market services, Ankr eliminates the barriers to entry for large businesses interested in the Web3 space. With AppChains on Azure, launching an enterprise-level chain will soon be the fastest, most convenient, and advantageous method for businesses to make the vertical jump to Web3 and capture new audiences while pleasing existing customers.”
A Streamlined Transition to Web3 for Businesses
Ankr’s AppChains product has been on the market for a year. It helps Web3 organizations launch scalable, application-specific blockchains for decentralized applications and projects.
The product initially targeted Web3 applications. Growing interest from traditional enterprises has expanded its potential uses to institutional clients, banking, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), gaming, and other industries. AppChains offers businesses a way to use blockchain technology for specific applications.
Traditional firms often rely on established platforms when evaluating emerging technologies. By listing AppChains on Microsoft’s Azure Marketplace, Ankr gives businesses a way to find a trusted and verified solution. This can speed up the path to market for use cases including those mentioned above.
The integration also makes AppChains easier to access and strengthens the solution’s credibility and reliability. More enterprises can now evaluate ways to use blockchain technology.
Peter Stewart, Head of Infrastructure at Ankr, said: “Our collaboration with the Microsoft team to launch the Enterprise RPC service was highly rewarding. Together, we ensured exceptional user-friendliness and performance. Now live on Azure Marketplace, we anticipate a surge in clients and are preparing our resources accordingly.
With Microsoft’s guidance, we will continue to innovate and improve based on user feedback and performance metrics. This partnership has been remarkable, and we are excited for the future of our Enterprise RPC service.”
An Ambition of Scaling Web3 Projects Seamlessly
Ankr’s AppChains address several barriers companies face when starting Web3 initiatives. These include scalability, user experience, and the high cost of hiring Web3 engineering talent.
Businesses using AppChains can access fast and cost-effective transactions, seamless user experiences, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end engineering expertise from Ankr’s seasoned team. These services simplify the transition to Web3 and help companies that have been waiting to enter the digital asset space pursue its opportunities.
Daniel An, Director of Business Development of Microsoft Web3 & AI, said: “We are excited to partner with Ankr to bring enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure to Azure Marketplace. Through this partnership, we are abstracting away what is often an impediment to testing, deploying, and scaling Web3 projects seamlessly.
We look forward to helping enterprise customers and developers meet their evolving infrastructure and tooling needs in Web3.”
Ankr is a Web3 developer hub offering tools for building Web3 applications and connecting them to over 30 blockchains. It is an approved infrastructure partner for ecosystems including the BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, and Avalanche.
Ankr also helps projects create AppChains that meet their infrastructure and engineering requirements. These include validators, RPC nodes, block explorers, testnets, staking platforms, and more. Organizations can use the platform to create customized blockchain solutions for their specific requirements.
