Balancer, a prominent decentralized finance protocol developed on Ethereum, has announced the V3 launch on Avalanche, a popular blockchain network. As per Balancer, it is unveiling its V3 update on the blockchain of Avalanche to offer robust tools to facilitate DeFi strategists, developers, and liquidity providers. The platform took to social media to disclose this upgrade.
Balancer Deploys V3 Upgrade on Avalanche to Offer Programmable Liquidity and Capital Efficiency
The launch of Balancer V3 on Avalanche denotes a notable milestone, delivering programmable liquidity. In addition to this, the update will also enable comprehensive integrations with local Avalanche protocols and more capital efficiency. Avalanche has already become a hub in the case of Real World Assets (RWAs), blockchain developers, and liquidity providers. In addition to this, Balancer V3’s arrival on Avalanche offers a strong layer of yield optimization and composability.
With Balancer V3’s release on Avalanche, the consumers are provided with a suite of exclusive features. They include improved pools, support for modified strategy-led pools, and programmable hooks. The hundred percent Boosted Pools stand at the center of the Balancer V3 upgrade. This innovation integrates with the lending markets of Aave. These pools allow the availability of the assets in the liquidity pool even after their deposit. Additionally, it also permits the rehypothecation of these assets to offer yield within the Aave ecosystem.
The key example takes into account the latest released Boosted Pool that includes $ggAVAX, $sAVAX, and $wAVAX. The respective pool is created in collaboration with GoGoPool and Benqi Finance. The pool boosts the above-mentioned assets via Aave. Hence, it develops a high-yield liquidity for the efficient product modified for the ecosystem of Avalanche. Balanche has unveiled a couple of boosted pools for stablecoins. One of them includes $AUSD, $USDT, and $USDC, while the other includes $sdeUSD, $upAUSD, and $savUSD.
Driving a Paradigm Shift in Optimization and Management of DeFi Liquidity
According to Balancer, its V3 upgrade lets developers implement hooks, which are programmable extensions for the execution of custom logic for exits, joins, and swaps. The respective feature unlocks the door to DeFi apps capable of building customized functionality into the liquidity infrastructure of Balancer. Overall, Balancer V3’s deployment underscores a paradigm shift in the case of optimization and management of DeFi liquidity.
