The leading crypto exchange Binance recently declared introducing the education project in collaboration with the top state institutions of Kazakhstan. The collaboration targets to provide blockchain-related education to more than 40,000 citizens by 2026. The crypto exchange is partnering up with Blockchain Center (a research lab established by Astana Hub and Kazakhstan-based National Bank’s Center for Development of Payment and Financial Technologies).

The other collaborators in the contract take into account the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. One of the persons to ink the memorandum was Mr. Musin (known as the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
The other persons include Mr. Madiev (who serves as the General Manager of Binance Kazakhstan), and Mr. Zhalenov (who play the role of the Chairman of the Board of Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As mentioned in the contract, the crypto exchange will offer educational materials as well as support to establish and run the fundamental educational project (dealing with compliance and blockchain) for the Universities.

A place will be obtained by Kazakhstan among the first nations across the globe to include the essential blockchain curriculum in the programs being taught at the Universities throughout the entire country. People with professional knowledge regarding compliance, digital assets ecosystem, and blockchain will play a significant role in the worldwide industry of blockchain. The respective endeavour originates from the meeting between Mt. Tokaev (Kazakhstan’s president) and Changpeng Zhao (the CEO and co-founder of Binance) in May this year.

In that meeting, both parties conversed over a partnership in the case of crypto and blockchain-related education. After that, in June, Astana Hub and the Center for the Development of Payment and Financial Technologies of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan founded Blockchain Center.
This initiative was established to push the blockchain industry along with the development as well as implementation of educational projects within Kazakhstan. In October this year, the crypto exchange received a permanent license from the Financial Services Authority of Kazakhstan to carry out its custody-related operations at the Astana International Financial Center.
