Bitcoin whales are buying again, showing that they are not losing faith in the market while the short-term price is dropping.
Recent on-chain information indicates that there are increased whale wallets that have already withdrawn or been issued large quantities of BTC in the last 12 hours which may indicate that whales are storing Bitcoin for the long term.
Bitcoin price is approximately $122,630 at the moment of writing. It is maintaining itself despite the extreme price volatility.
Analysts note that the price has consolidated in a narrow range of between $124,700 and $119,000, with analysts referring to these as resistance and support levels, respectively.
Bitcoin Whale Wallets Move Millions Off Exchanges
Whale bc1qr9 moved 650 BTC (approximately 80 million dollars) out of Binance in the past 30 minutes, which is a big move. That wallet is now worth 2,091 Bitcoins, or around 257 million dollars, indicating that big players continue to make purchases.
The other large transfer was an 8-hour-old transfer of new wallet 35usJu with 1,183 BTC ($144 million) received by Galaxy Digital. BitGo deposited 500 BTC (60.85million) in a different new wallet, 1EPzzK, only 12 hours earlier.
The big withdrawals of major whales and exchanges tend to indicate that people decide to hold Bitcoin in the long term rather than trading fast. Previously, the movement of funds off exchanges reduced short-term selling pressure and, in most cases, preceded an upward move.
Technical Indicators Show Strength Despite Resistance
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) of the token is 63 in the daily time frame. This implies moderate strength, but it is not at overbought levels. The EMA 21 stands at 111,700 in a weekly time frame.
The daily volume is around 84 billion, and this number indicates that there are both large institutions and small retail traders active in the market.
Bitcoin has to decisively surpass the level of $124,700 to assure analysts of an upward trend. Otherwise, the price might retest the support level of $119,000.
Market Forecast: Institutional Confidence Increases
Big holders are buying Bitcoin, and it is an indication that institutions are returning to the market. Enterprises like Galaxy Digital and BitGo are transferring large sums of BTC to personal wallets. This unusual movement amid market volatility proves that they are considering long-term strategies rather than short term scalps.
Analysts believe that if Bitcoin is further purchased and maintained above the price of $120,000, the market can establish another quarter of doing well with a new bigger all-time high.
As Bitcoin remains within its current price range, the consistent whale purchase is seen to be a confidence-building effort.
