Cardano (ADA) price predictions for 2026 to 2030 published in November 2026 are mostly flat to bearish in the near term. CoinCodex, updated on November 3, expects ADA to end 2026 near $0.158 and to average about $0.093 in December 2030, while CoinLore’s base case, updated on November 2, puts ADA near $0.38 in 2030, with a bull case of $1.81. ADA traded at about $0.1914 at 11:00 UTC on November 4, 2026, according to CoinMarketCap, about 94% below its all-time high of $3.10 from September 2, 2021.
When this guide was first published in December 2025, ADA traded below $0.50, and the question was whether it was cheap or a trap. Eleven months later ADA is about 42% below its 2025 closing price of $0.3328, so holders and would-be buyers are asking the same question at a much lower price: will Cardano grow into its promises, or keep losing attention to rival chains?
This guide explains, in plain English, where ADA stands now, what third-party models forecast for each year from 2026 to 2030, what could move the price, and what to weigh before accumulating. It does not set price targets of its own, and it is not investment advice.
Where Cardano (ADA) stands today in November 2026
Current ADA price, trend, and how it compares to the last bull run
ADA traded at about $0.1914 at 11:00 UTC on November 4, 2026, up 1.5% over 24 hours but down 7.8% over seven days and 30.3% over 30 days, according to CoinMarketCap. Its market cap was about $7.05 billion, the 15th largest in crypto, and its seven-day range ran from $0.1835 to $0.2089.
| Metric | Value (November 4, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Price | About $0.1914 (11:00 UTC) |
| Market cap | About $7.05 billion (rank #15) |
| 24-hour volume | About $246 million |
| Circulating supply | About 36.82 billion ADA (max 45 billion) |
| All-time high | $3.10 on September 2, 2021 (about 94% below) |
| 2025 close | $0.3328 |
| 2026 range | $0.4357 high (January 6) to $0.1387 low (June 26) |
| One-year change | About -64.6% |
The 2021 bull run is the comparison most holders still use. ADA peaked at $3.10 in September 2021, when its market cap on a daily-close basis reached about $95 billion, more than 13 times its value today. Since then ADA has made lower highs in each rally: it set its 2026 high of $0.4357 on January 6, fell to $0.1387 on June 26, rebounded to $0.2813 on October 6, and then gave back most of that gain.
October was the turning point. ADA fell about 22% in the month, from $0.2466 at the end of September to $0.1928 on October 31, and touched $0.1838 on October 30, a day after the Binance hack hit the whole market. Technical indicators on CoinCodex on November 3 were bearish, with 29 of 33 signals pointing down, the 14-day RSI at 31.75 and ADA below both its 50-day ($0.2292) and 200-day ($0.2096) moving averages.
The wider market is cautious. Bitcoin traded near $78,400 on November 4 after an election-night dip to about $75,630, its lowest since September 16, and the Crypto Fear and Greed Index read 34 (Fear). Our crypto market today page tracks the market daily.
Recent upgrades, AI payments, and ecosystem growth that could matter later
Cardano kept shipping upgrades in 2026 even as the price fell:
- van Rossem hard fork: ratified through on-chain governance on July 13, 2026 and enacted on July 18, adding new tools for smart contract developers
- Node 11.2.0: tagged on October 27, 2026, setting up DijkstraNet, the test network for Cardano’s next hard fork
- Dijkstra and Leios: the next hard fork includes Ouroboros Leios, a consensus change meant to raise throughput; Intersect targets code completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, with no mainnet date set until governance ratifies it
- AI payments: Cardano support was added to x402, an open payment standard started by Coinbase that lets software, including AI agents, pay for web services with crypto; DL News reported that founder Charles Hoskinson welcomed the integration
- Stablecoins and privacy: USDCx went live on Cardano on February 27, 2026, according to the Cardano Foundation, and the privacy-focused partner chain Midnight produced its genesis block on March 17, 2026
Usage is the weak spot. Cardano’s DeFi total value locked (TVL) was about $53.4 million on November 2, 2026, down from about $169.8 million on January 1, according to DefiLlama, and stablecoins on Cardano totaled about $62.3 million. For comparison, Solana held about $5.38 billion in DeFi TVL and Ethereum about $43.4 billion on November 4. Staking is Cardano’s strongest number: about 58.5% of circulating ADA was staked in epoch 665 across about 2,884 registered stake pools, according to Koios data on November 2.
Cardano (ADA) Price predictions for 2026 to 2030
Price predictions are model outputs and opinions, not promises. This guide uses the third-party forecasts that are still published and dated:
- CoinCodex (updated November 3, 2026, 19:42 UTC): technical model with monthly ranges
- CoinLore (CL-v4 Pro model, updated November 2, 2026): bear, base and bull cases by year
- Finder (expert panel, October 2025): long-range panel averages, published before ADA’s fall of about 65% over the past year
Changelly’s Cardano page repeats CoinCodex’s yearly figures from 2028 onward, so it is not counted as a separate model. DigitalCoinPrice’s Cardano forecast was left out because the page still shows a price of $0.36 and data from October 2024. Our main Cardano price prediction page covers each model, 2040 and 2050 forecasts and the ETF case in more depth.
Blockchainreporter’s forecast table below lines up the two models that are updated regularly:
| Year | CoinCodex (December min / avg / max) | CoinLore (bear / base / bull) |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 | $0.1583 / $0.1678 / $0.1722 | $0.0715 / $0.1191 / $0.6810 |
| 2027 | $0.1081 / $0.1137 / $0.1197 | $0.1016 / $0.1693 / $0.6517 |
| 2028 | $0.1011 / $0.1029 / $0.1039 | $0.1501 / $0.2501 / $1.29 |
| 2029 | $0.0757 / $0.0781 / $0.0872 | $0.1578 / $0.2630 / $2.43 |
| 2030 | $0.0904 / $0.0928 / $0.0982 | $0.2285 / $0.3808 / $1.81 |
The two models disagree on direction. CoinCodex’s technical model projects ADA’s recent downtrend forward and stays below today’s price through 2030. CoinLore’s base case dips in 2026 and then climbs to about double today’s price by 2030. Neither model puts its base or average case above $1 by 2030.
ADA price prediction for 2026: Could a Bitcoin bull run pull ADA back toward $1?
Not on current forecasts. With under two months left in the year, CoinCodex expects ADA to end 2026 at about $0.1583, about 17% below today’s price, and CoinLore’s 2026 base case is about $0.1191. CoinLore’s bull case of $0.681 is the highest 2026 figure from a current model, and it would still leave ADA well short of $1.
ADA at $1 would mean a market cap of about $36.8 billion on today’s supply, about 5.2 times its current value. That is more than the 2026 high of $0.4357 by a wide margin, and ADA last closed above $0.50 on November 15, 2025. A strong Bitcoin rally would help, since ADA usually moves with the wider market, but the published models do not see it reaching $1 this year.
The downside matters as much. CoinLore’s 2026 bear case of $0.0715 would be below ADA’s June 26 low of $0.1387, and a deeper market sell-off or more exchange stress could test those levels.
ADA price outlook for 2027 and 2028: What if Cardano keeps building quietly?
The models split most clearly here. CoinCodex’s December 2027 average is about $0.1137, falling to about $0.1029 in December 2028. CoinLore’s base case rises from about $0.1693 in 2027 to about $0.2501 in 2028, with bull cases of $0.6517 and $1.29.
A quiet-building scenario would need visible progress that shows up in usage, not only in code:
- The Dijkstra hard fork and Leios reaching mainnet and lifting capacity
- DeFi deposits recovering from about $53 million toward the levels of earlier years
- More stablecoin supply on Cardano than the current $62 million
- Staking staying attractive enough to keep more than half of ADA locked up
If usage stays flat, the CoinCodex path, with ADA drifting near or below today’s price, is the one the data currently supports.
ADA price scenarios for 2029 and 2030: Can it revisit or beat the old all-time high?
No current model gets ADA back to its $3.10 record by 2030. CoinCodex’s December 2030 average is about $0.0928, and CoinLore’s 2030 base case is about $0.3808, with a bull case of $1.81. CoinLore’s highest yearly figure in this window is its 2029 bull case of $2.43.
The record would require a market cap of about $114 billion on today’s supply, about 16 times ADA’s current value and above its 2021 peak. The most optimistic published long-range number is the Finder panel’s October 2025 average of $3.56 for 2030, but that survey was published before ADA fell about 65%, and the same panel’s end-2025 average of $1.47 compared with an actual close of $0.3328.
For 2029 and 2030 to look like a match or a beat of the old high, Cardano would need a strong crypto cycle, sustained relevance against faster chains, real-world use at scale, and developer tools that bring in new apps.
Realistic vs. moonshot predictions: What long-term ADA targets actually mean
Long-term ADA targets of $10, $100 or more circulate on social media, and Blockchainreporter’s supply math shows what they imply. On about 36.8 billion ADA in circulation:
| ADA price | Implied market cap | Versus today |
|---|---|---|
| $1 | About $36.8 billion | About 5.2 times |
| $3.10 (record) | About $114.2 billion | About 16 times |
| $5 | About $184.1 billion | About 26 times |
| $10 | About $368.2 billion | About 53 times |
| $100 | About $3.68 trillion | More than the whole crypto market (about $2.63 trillion) |
Published long-range models are far below the moonshot calls. CoinCodex expects about $0.316 in 2040 and about $0.935 in 2050. CoinLore’s base case reaches about $1.24 in 2035 and about $2.80 in 2040.
A more useful way to read any long-term target is as a range of outcomes with probabilities, not a script: focus on the years you can track, check what has to happen for each number to come true, and plan for a wide spread of results.
Key factors that could move Cardano (ADA) price up or down
Crypto market cycle and Bitcoin: Why ADA often follows the leader
Bitcoin sets the direction for most altcoins. In November 2026, the backdrop is weak: Bitcoin trades near $78,400, spot Bitcoin ETFs had a third straight day of outflows on November 3 (about $115.6 million), and the Federal Reserve raised rates to 3.75% to 4.00% in September 2026, then held on October 28 with two votes for another hike.
ADA tends to fall harder than Bitcoin in risk-off periods and rise faster in strong rallies. Over the past year ADA lost about 65% of its value, which shows how much the cycle matters for a large-cap altcoin.
Usage, DeFi activity, and real-world adoption on Cardano
Price follows demand over time, and demand follows usage. Cardano’s DeFi TVL of about $53 million and stablecoin supply of about $62 million are small next to Solana and Ethereum, and TVL fell about 69% between January 1 and November 2, 2026.
Cardano’s long-running pitch includes identity and records projects in Africa, such as the student-records program announced with Ethiopia’s education ministry in 2021, and newer AI payment work through x402. These could become long-term tailwinds, but none has yet produced on-chain activity on a scale that moves the price.
Tech upgrades, competition, and regulation risks
Upgrades that improve speed, cost and developer tools could attract builders. Leios is the big one: developers expect it to raise capacity about three to five times at launch, with more later through parameter changes, but its mainnet date depends on governance.
Competition is intense. Ethereum, Solana and newer chains such as Sui are moving fast, and our Solana price prediction shows how differently the market values a chain with far higher usage.
Regulation has become clearer. The SEC and CFTC named Cardano among the digital commodities in a joint interpretive release on March 17, 2026. ETF demand is still thin, though: Grayscale withdrew its spot Cardano ETF registration on August 7, 2026, and the Volatility Shares Cardano ETF (CRDD), which holds ADA futures rather than ADA, had about $1.58 million in net assets on October 30, 2026. CME Group launched Cardano futures on February 9, 2026.
ADA remains a high-risk, high-volatility asset over any horizon, including five to ten years.
Is now a good time to accumulate Cardano (ADA)?
No article can answer that for you. The useful questions are your time horizon, your tolerance for large losses, and how much of your portfolio you would put at risk.
Reasons some investors are buying and holding ADA into 2030
- ADA trades about 94% below its $3.10 peak, which long-term believers see as a discount
- Supporters value Cardano’s research-first, peer-reviewed approach and its on-chain governance
- Many holders expect ADA to rally if a new Bitcoin bull market arrives
- Staking lets holders earn rewards in ADA while they hold, without locking their tokens
- Fans expect Leios, stablecoins and real-world projects to matter more by 2030
- Long-term holders plan in years and accept drawdowns of 50% or more
Risks, downsides, and how to build a safer ADA buying plan
The risks are concrete:
- Cardano has a history of delivering features later than first promised
- On-chain activity and DeFi deposits are small and fell in 2026
- Cardano may never become a top chain by usage
- ADA is about 94% below its peak today, and altcoin drawdowns of 50% or more are common even in good years
- Exchange risk: the Binance hack of October 29, 2026 showed how quickly market stress spreads
Common risk-management practices people use with volatile assets include putting in only money they can afford to lose, buying in small amounts over time instead of all at once, spreading risk across assets, and keeping coins in a wallet they control. Our crypto wallets guide covers storage options. Staying out of ADA is also a valid choice, and a licensed financial professional can help with decisions about your own situation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Cardano price prediction for 2026?
CoinCodex, updated November 3, 2026, expects ADA to end 2026 at about $0.158, below the price of about $0.19 on November 4. CoinLore’s 2026 range runs from a bear case of about $0.072 to a bull case of about $0.68, with a base case near $0.12. No current model expects ADA to reach $1 in 2026.
What is the Cardano price prediction for 2030?
Published 2030 forecasts differ widely. CoinCodex’s December 2030 average is about $0.093, below today’s price. CoinLore’s 2030 base case, updated November 2, 2026, is about $0.38, with a bear case of $0.23 and a bull case of $1.81. Finder’s expert panel averaged $3.56 in October 2025, before ADA fell about 65% over the following year.
Can Cardano reach $1 again?
ADA at $1 would need a market cap of about $36.8 billion, about five times its November 2026 value. ADA traded above $1 in 2021 and early 2022, but its 2026 high was $0.4357. Among current models, only CoinLore’s bull cases reach $1 or more, from 2028 onward, while its base cases stay below $0.40 through 2030.
Will ADA ever reach its all-time high of $3.10?
Not according to current models for this decade. Reaching $3.10 would require a market cap of about $114 billion on today’s supply, about 16 times ADA’s November 2026 value. CoinCodex’s 2030 average is about $0.09 and CoinLore’s 2030 bull case is $1.81. CoinLore’s base case only approaches that level around 2040, at about $2.80.
Why is Cardano’s price down in 2026?
ADA fell about 42% from its 2025 close of $0.3328 to about $0.19 by early November 2026. The main reasons are a weak crypto market, falling DeFi activity on Cardano, the withdrawal of Grayscale’s spot Cardano ETF filing in August and the market-wide sell-off after the Binance hack on October 29, which pushed ADA to $0.1838 on October 30.
Is Cardano a good investment in 2026?
That depends on your goals and risk tolerance, and this guide does not give investment advice. Supporters point to research-driven development, on-chain governance and upgrades such as Leios. Critics point to low usage, about $53 million in DeFi deposits and a 94% drawdown from the record. Current forecasts are mixed to bearish for the next few years.
What could push the ADA price higher?
A broad crypto rally led by Bitcoin is the biggest factor. Cardano-specific drivers include the Dijkstra hard fork with Ouroboros Leios, which developers expect to raise capacity about three to five times at launch, growth in stablecoins and DeFi, new spot ADA fund filings, and clearer US rules after the SEC and CFTC named Cardano a digital commodity in March 2026.
Is there a Cardano ETF?
There is no spot Cardano ETF in the United States as of November 4, 2026. Grayscale withdrew its spot Cardano ETF registration on August 7, 2026. The Volatility Shares Cardano ETF (CRDD) holds ADA futures instead of ADA and had about $1.58 million in net assets on October 30. In Europe, 21Shares and WisdomTree offer physically backed ADA products.
How much ADA is staked?
About 58.5% of circulating ADA was staked in epoch 665, about 21.5 billion ADA, across about 2,884 registered stake pools, according to Koios data on November 2, 2026. Cardano staking is liquid: delegated ADA stays in the holder’s wallet and can be moved at any time, and rewards are paid every epoch of about five days.
The bottom line
Cardano sits at a hard spot in November 2026. ADA trades near $0.19, about 94% below its $3.10 record and about 42% below where it closed 2025, while the network keeps shipping upgrades that have not yet translated into usage.
The published models reflect that gap. CoinCodex sees ADA below today’s price through 2030, CoinLore’s base case roughly doubles it by 2030, and no current model’s base case reaches $1 this decade.
- If you see ADA as a long-term, high-risk bet with a clear thesis, the forecasts and data above show what has to go right, from Leios to DeFi growth to a broader crypto recovery.
- If the risk or uncertainty feels too high, stepping aside is also a reasonable choice.
