The CEO of the popular communication application, Discord, published a picture of the pre-release version of a future update where users will be able to connect their apps to Ethereum’s network via MetaMask or WalletConnect.
Popular social networking platform Discord recently stirred a series of speculations following a single tweet from its chief executive. In the same, the CEO shared a screenshot, one that hinted at Discord joining hands with the world’s largest altcoin – Ethereum. Discord CEO and Founder Citron was quick to give his perspective on this ambiguous tweet. The exec shared a screenshot of what appears to be Discord settings that allow users to connect to Ethereum – “Probably nothing,” he simply said.
The Discord feedback forum is filling up with messages from Nitro subscribers who have canceled their subscriptions based on a recent Twitter post by Jason Citron. Many of the subject lines in the forum are simply either “no crypto” or “no NFT”. Citron’s tweet was created in response to a post made by Not Boring’s Packy McCormick, who had written about Discord and its Web 3.0 potential.
