While there, they distributed food and clothing and hosted interactive events for the local children. The donations were distributed between the 2nd and 3rd of December, and they represented Gate Charity’s third contribution to a charity organization.
Aeta is an umbrella term that refers to a number of distinct native peoples who currently reside on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The Aeta people frequently reside in underprivileged and destitute communities. This is in part because the places in which they are concentrated are prone to natural disasters. A famous example of this is the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991, which caused the destruction of numerous Aeta settlements and rendered the groundwater in the area undrinkable, which forced the Aeta to relocate.
