Pudgy Penguins reportedly secured the top spot in non-fungible token (NFT) collectible sales over the past week recording $10.69 million in sales volume. The collection which operates on the Ethereum ($ETH) blockchain experienced a 13.75% decline in sales compared to the previous week. However, transactions saw a 35.27% rise with 151 buyers and 164 sellers actively participating reflecting a 42.61% increase in seller activity.
DMarket followed in second place recording $8.57 million in sales. The Mythos-powered marketplace witnessed a 7.72% increase in sales with 311,175 transactions completed during the week a 9.25% growth from prior performance. The platform had over 22,000 buyers and 17,871 sellers engaged during the period. Courtyard Sees Significant Growth on Polygon
Courtyard, a collection on the Polygon blockchain, saw remarkable growth in the past seven days amassing $7.00 million in sales. The sales volume surged by 81.51%, making it one of the fastest-growing collections this week. The number of transactions rose by 65.04% with 6,330 buyers and 395 sellers actively participating.
Azuki, another prominent Ethereum-based collection secured the fourth position with $5.98 million in sales despite witnessing a 77.88% decrease in volume. The collection saw 439 transactions a 56.96% drop from last week, while its buyer and seller activity also experienced notable declines.
NFTs’ Mixed Performance for Other Leading Collections
As per the data shared by CryptoSlam, the Guild of Guardians on Immutable-ZK ranked fifth with $5.28 million in sales. Although sales dipped by 3.11%, the collection saw modest growth in transaction volume and participant activity. Ethereum-based CryptoPunks recorded $4.90 million in sales though transactions and user engagement declined significantly.
Other notable collections Lil Pudgys, Milady Maker, and BRC-20 NFTs showed mixed trends with some experiencing significant upticks in activity. Bored Ape Yacht Club rounded out the top ten with $2.64 million in sales, reflecting a 32.84% decrease from the prior week.
