On Tuesday we wrote that HBAR had shown what happens when a pump outruns its news, and that QNT was the rally everyone was watching. Two days later QNT has not cracked. But two warning lights have come on.
Quant (QNT) trades at $288.42, up 1.56% on the day and 306% over seven days. A token that sat near $70 on September 24 has roughly quadrupled.
Compare that with Hedera (HBAR), the other “enterprise partnership” story of the week. HBAR trades at $0.1048, down 1.17% on the day, and has stopped falling after its sharp reversal on September 29. It is still up 16% on the week. Our longer view sits in the HBAR price prediction.
Why QNT Is Up: The Deal Is Real
The move rests on a concrete announcement. On September 24, The Clearing House said it selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, a bank-led network for clearing and settling tokenized deposits.

That is a very different counterparty from a marketplace listing. The Clearing House runs core US payment infrastructure. That difference is the strongest argument for why QNT held its gains while HBAR did not.
Warning Light #1: Momentum Is Stretched
Daily RSI on QNT sits around 81, according to market data cited by analysts on October 1. Readings above 70 are generally read as overbought. Above 80, rallies tend to end in one of two ways: a sharp blow-off top or a sideways cool-down while the indicator resets.
So far QNT is doing the second thing. A 1.56% day after a 300% week is a pause, not a breakout. That is the healthier of the two outcomes, and it is not guaranteed to last.
Warning Light #2: A Dormant Wallet Moved
Market reports on October 1 flagged that a wallet linked to a Quant founder moved 25,776 QNT, worth about $7 million at current prices, after roughly seven years of inactivity.
Two things are true at once. A transfer is not a sale. Coins move between wallets for custody, accounting or exchange deposits, and none of that is confirmed here. But traders watch exactly this kind of signal at the top of a parabolic run, and it can trigger selling on its own.
This is unconfirmed on-chain interpretation, not established fact. Until the coins show up on an exchange, it is a flag, not a verdict.
The One Number That Matters
First half of 2027.
That is when The Clearing House expects its network to open to participating institutions. The token has repriced in a week. The product it depends on is still months away from live use, with participation details yet to be announced.
That gap does not make the rally wrong. Markets price the future. But it means there is no fresh fundamental catalyst due soon to defend the current price if sentiment turns. Between now and launch, QNT trades on expectations alone.

- $270 to $295: the range QNT has held since September 29. Holding it confirms the cool-down scenario.
- $150 area: where QNT traded on September 26 before the biggest leg up. A break below $270 opens room toward the levels the rally passed through quickly.
- New highs: a clean move above the late-September spike would show demand is still outrunning supply, but buying into that with RSI above 80 is the highest-risk version of this trade.
Bottom Line
QNT is the rare 300% rally backed by a real, verifiable deal with major banking infrastructure, and that is why it has held while HBAR faded. But momentum is stretched, a long-dormant wallet just moved, and the product behind the move does not go live until 2027. Holding $270 is what matters next.
