White.market, a CS2 skins marketplace, together with WhiteBIT are launching Cache Back. The campaign combines in-game item trading with rewards in Tether Gold (XAU₮), a digital token backed by physical gold.
From October 14 to December 12, 2026, users who purchase CS2 skins on white.market can receive up to $25 worth of XAU₮ in their WhiteBIT accounts.
For white.market’s trading community, this opens not only access to more than one million CS2 skins, but also the opportunity to receive a reward in a digital asset that represents ownership of physical gold.
Skins have long outgrown their purely in-game function. They’re collected, resold, and rare items can be worth thousands of dollars: according to analyst estimates, the secondary CS2 skin market’s capitalization ranged between $4.3–6 billion in 2025–2026, with players opening over 400 million cases each year (SteamDB). Cache Back adds a new element to that experience — an introduction to tokenized gold through a purchase players already make.
Gold has long been viewed as a store of value, and tokenization now makes it as easy to hold as any digital asset — without a vault or physical storage. XAU₮, issued by Tether, is one of the largest tokens that provides you ownership of real physical gold.
XAU₮ tokens are divisible into increments as small as 0.000001 fine troy ounce of gold held in a Swiss vault.
Cache Back sits precisely at the intersection of these two trends — the excitement of the skin market and growing interest in stable digital assets.
A single skin purchase of $20 or more during the campaign period qualifies for cashback. A standard skin earns $20 in XAU₮, while a skin from the Gold Collection earns $25. Each participant may receive the cashback only once during the entire campaign. The reward is credited automatically, but withdrawing, trading, or converting it requires completed KYC verification on WhiteBIT, to be finished by December 31, 2026.
Gold Tickets can also be earned without a purchase, through Quick Learn — short educational cards explaining what XAU₮ is and how it is backed by physical gold.
Participation opens on October 14. Only users whose Steam accounts were registered before the start of the campaign can take part. To join, sign in to white.market via Steam and connect a WhiteBIT account. Full terms are available on the campaign page.
WhiteBIT and white.market are part of W Group. W Group is a global fintech ecosystem that brings together high-tech companies across blockchain, cryptocurrencies, traditional finance, and media.
The campaign’s materials, including Quick Learn, are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute investment, financial, or trading advice.
