Outlier Ventures has announced 5 teams taking part in the accelerator program named LatAm Base Camp. As per Outlier Ventures, the teams will get 1st-hand support to the cohort over 12 weeks. The accelerator program recently announced this initiative details to the community.
Outlier Ventures Introduce 5 Teams of the LatAm Base Camp Cohort
The selected five startups will get support during the LatAm Base Camp in several ways. They will get support on fundraising, investment, engineering, token design, marketing advisory, and so on. In addition to this, the teams will get guidance from Morgan Creek Digital. The platform chose the teams from applications throughout the region. They denote a few of the top promising ventures to drive innovation across the Latin American financial ecosystem.
The teams are building applications, protocols, and products focusing on consumer fintech solutions, DeFi, financial inclusion, and OpenFi. LatAm Base Camp Accelerator Lead at Outlier Ventures, Jon Valero, expressed excitement about the launch of this accelerator program. He mentioned that LatAm Base Camp focuses on the expansion of the Web3 ecosystem. This denotes a substantial opportunity to back the founders who drive innovation addressing challenges that the region faces.
Valero mentioned that the platform welcomes the 5 remarkable teams of the cohort. As per him, these teams will leverage their expertise under the guidance of Morgan Creek Digital and Outlier Ventures. Moreover, they will get support from the mentors backing the accelerator. Valero added that the LatAm Base Camp expects progress and impact created by these teams. Morgan Creek Digital’s General Partner Xavier Segura also commented on this development.
