Ceffu, the institutional custody arm of Binance, has announced support for the EOS mainnet, enhancing institutional-grade security and unlocking new CeDeFi opportunities for EOS token holders. This collaboration integrates advanced custody infrastructure and Binance’s MirrorX solution, offering institutions secure management and innovative strategies for their digital assets.
Institutional-Grade Custody and CeDeFi Access
Ceffu uses multi-party computation (MPC) on the EOS network to provide flexible approval settings and ensure top-level security for token holders. These features are designed to address the needs of institutional clients to allow clients to control assets much better.
The MirrorX solution, an off-exchange settlement feature developed by Binance, allows institutions to explore CeDeFi strategies by leveraging Binance’s liquidity and trading mechanisms. This approach bridges the benefits of centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized finance (DeFi), providing EOS token holders with advanced yield solutions designed for institutional needs.
EOS Network and Ceffu Integration Advancements
The partnership comes as EOS is added to the Coinbase COIN50 Index, an index of the top fifty tokens on the Coinbase Exchange. New developments in EOS tokenomics including a $450 million staking rewards plan, have boosted staking and drawn more extensive periods of token lockup from 4 to 28 days, which has solidified the network. Moreover, the Unicove portal is integrated to facilitate user onboarding and enhance user experience.
Yves La Rose, Founder and CEO of the EOS Network Foundation (ENF), noted that this would be instrumental in enhancing institutional adoption. Ceffu’s use of custody services enhances EOS solutions’ growth and offers institutional-grade, secure, and scalable solutions to the market while spreading the recognition of blockchain.
The partnership between Ceffu and EOS is a major advancement in coupling cutting-edge custodial functions with blockchain technology. This demonstrates how CeDeFi solutions can bring decentralized technology into the institutional finance world.
