Floki Inu, a meme cryptocurrency inspired by Tesla CEO, continuing marketing expansion by partnership with Kerala Blasters and Spartak Moscow.
Kerela Blasters
As part of the partnership, the cryptocurrency’s logo and its website will appear on the right sleeve of the club’s jersey throughout the Hero Indian Super League 2021-2022 season. In February, Kerela Blasters reached two million followers on Instagram, becoming the first Indian football club to achieve such a milestone. It also boasts 1.8 million followers on Twitter. The promoters of the Floki Inu cryptocurrency believe that the deal could potentially help the meme coin to go mainstream in India.
The partnership, which takes effect immediately, will have FLOKI be Kerala Blasters’ sleeve sponsor for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL). Currently, the Twitter handle of the football club has 1.8 million followers, while the Instagram account has more than $2 million followers.
Spartak Moscow
This latest sponsorship deal is with FC Spartak Moscow, which is “a Russian professional football club from Moscow” that has won “12 Soviet championships (second only to Dynamo Kyiv) and a record 10 Russian championships“.
The partnership will begin immediately, says the Floki team, with the crypto’s brand and website to be featured on the Spartak Moscow jersey as well as LED panels to be plastered on all advertising constructions around the stadium.
The Floki team tweeted: “With 17.81 million supporters in Russia, a combined social media following of 10.4 million+ people, and a massive TV audience for each game, the [Spartak Moscow] partnership will help make Floki a mainstream cryptocurrency in Russia.”
Floki is already being actively promoted on social media, billboards and transport networks, and working with sports celebrities and teams all over the world, including WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, top-tier Italian Napoli FC and German Bayer FC.
