Audio Up joins Metaverse by teaming up with gaming metaverse pioneer Star Atlas to create sci-adventure podcast
Metaverse Partnership
Audio Up, an award-winning audio entertainment project, has announced collaboration with next-gen gaming Metaverse Star Atlas. Later this year, Audio Up will release an original, scripted sci-fi adventure podcast which will bring the Star Atlas Metaverse and cosmic marketplace to life through audio storytelling.
The 8 episode Moon Station Six series is set within an experimental jail in the remote edges of the Star Atlas world and uses characters and mythology from the game as the foundation for its plot. The series, which has been described as “Oz Meets 2001: A Space Odyssey on HBO,” follows an android bounty hunter who was falsely convicted of a murder he did not commit. Moon Station Six, created by Audio Up’s Chief Creative Officer Jimmy Jellinek, will have an unique soundtrack with NFT drops unlocking additional elements inside the tale, original music, and imagery.
Star Atlas is a next-generation Metaverse that employs cutting-edge blockchain and real-time visual technology to create a gaming experience that will endure millennia. Star Atlas, a grand strategy game focusing on space exploration, will include territory conquest, political dominance, a powerful in-game market with player-owned assets, and the possibility to win real-world cash rewards — and a lot more.
Since last year, the business has brought to market a variety of novel NFT goods, including playable ships, generating over $175 million in sales. Several big game releases are planned for 2022, along with a web-based mini-game and an entire production release called Volante Studios Showroom, that will be displayed utilizing Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite – which produces cinematic grade video game sceneries.
Since its April 2020 debut, Audio Up has attempted to merge future IP with podcasts, audio books, and music as part of a campaign to fully alter the podcast and audio media sector by 2022. In less than two years, the firm is now one of the quickest growing companies in all media, and the golden period of audio has helped them to prosper amid one of the most difficult times in recent memory thanks to COVID-19. Nonetheless, CEO Jared Gustadt and his seasoned team were able to survive and grow under extreme pressure to develop a profitable corporation.
