Poly Network attended the Hong Kong Web3 Festival on April 15th, with Dr. Luke Liu, a Core Ecosystem Contributor at Poly Network, speaking at a panel discussion on Cross-Chain technology. Along with experts in the field, Dr. Liu discussed the security of Web3 interoperability protocols, highlighting Poly Network’s research and case studies on reported attacks over the past two years.
The panel discussed the need for a security risk model for interoperability protocols, which are crucial to the establishment of interaction standards across different blockchain networks. Poly Network emphasized the importance of security specifications and provided new paradigms for the development of multichain applications to deliver more practical security guarantees.
Security of Web3 Interoperability Protocols
Through its research and development, Poly Network aims to provide better security solutions for Web3 interoperability protocols and promote the overall security of the blockchain industry. Poly Network’s integration of 35+ blockchains has enabled cross-chain asset transfers worth over $16 billion. Dr. Liu expressed excitement at the opportunity to attend the Hong Kong Web3 Festival and share Poly Network’s research on the security of Web3 interoperability protocols.
He said: “We were excited to attend the Hong Kong Web3 Festival and share our research on the security of Web3 interoperability protocols. We actively looked for researchers, developers, and partners to push the development of critical research and products. Welcome aboard to the Poly Network ecosystem!”
The inaugural Hong Kong Web3 Festival, co-hosted by the HashKey Group and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs, brought together over 100 crypto projects as exhibitors and 300 distinguished industry leaders, venture capitalists, and senior executives from finance institutions as speakers.
The event, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, drew over 10,000 offline attendees. The festival is part of the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and together with other events, it is branded as the Business Week of Innovation and Technology hosted by HKTDC.
