The UNCX Network has always been devoted to the philosophy of decentralization. Taking their commitment a step further, they have initiated the process of enhancing their data layer using subgraphs via The Graph Network. In recognition of their trailblazing usage of subgraphs, they have been bestowed with a grant in GRT tokens.
Understanding The Graph Network
The Graph stands out as a decentralized network providing open APIs that index and arrange decentralized data. This organization of data makes it readily accessible for applications, making it a pivotal tool in the decentralized space.
Subgraphs Unveiled
Within The Graph’s realm, a subgraph can be likened to a custom-built search engine designed exclusively for blockchain data. Developers are provided the liberty to specify the precise data they require, the methods to garner it, and the manner in which it should be showcased. The outcome? Data procurement becomes streamlined and focused, mirroring the simplicity of conventional search engines.
Open Gates for External Developers
While subgraphs greatly benefit the UNCX Network internally, their utility doesn’t stop there. External developers are also privy to these subgraphs, facilitating a smooth integration when they seek to harness or display data from UNCX’s diverse service ecosystem. The endgame of this transition is to bestow effortless data accessibility and amplify transparency.
Steering UNCX Subgraphs
UNCX Network has intentions to channel the GRT token grant towards bolstering their own subgraph curation. Curation of subgraphs is a pivotal step to ensure that the pertinent Indexers commence the indexing and serve up the queries.
But, what does subgraph curation entail? Curators, equipped with deep insights into the Web3 space, evaluate and recommend the subgraphs ripe for indexing by The Graph Network. The Graph expresses its gratitude towards Curators who point out high-caliber subgraphs by granting them a slice of the query fees that the subgraph amasses. Both Indexers and Curators are indispensable pillars of The Graph Network.
Furthermore, an open call has been made to the community, encouraging them to actively participate in the curation of UNCX Network’s subgraphs. Those keen to partake need to curate the subgraph utilizing GRT. The reward for their involvement will be a fraction of all subsequent queries directed to the subgraph.
A comprehensive curation guide will soon be available. For a deeper dive into curation, visit: The Graph’s official curation documentation.
Subgraph Integration in Services
UNCX Network envisions the deployment of at least 16 subgraphs to buttress their foundational services such as:
- Version 3 Liquidity Lockers (aligned with UniSwap V3 and its derivatives)
- Version 2 Liquidity Lockers (aligned with UniSwap V2 and its variants)
- Smart Contracts for Token Creation
- Smart Contracts for Staking and Farming
- Smart Contracts for Token Vesting
To fortify the ecosystem, these subgraphs will be ushered across various blockchain layers including the ETH Mainnet, BNB Chain, Arbitrum One, and Polygon. Updates on their roll-out will be periodically shared.
Currently active subgraphs include: UNCX Lockers V3, UNCX Lockers V3 on Polygon, and UNCX Lockers V3 on Arbitrum.
