Strategic Partnership for Klaytn Ecosystem Expansion
The renowned Klaytn Foundation has recently joined hands with Ozys, a leading blockchain technology developer worldwide, inking a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration is aimed at bolstering the Klaytn ecosystem’s growth and amplifying the competitive edge of the Orbit Bridge, a notable cross-chain protocol developed by Ozys.
Since its introduction in 2020, Orbit Bridge has secured a strong foothold in the global market. With this new partnership, both entities are dedicated to leveraging their technical and commercial prowess to further develop the Orbit Bridge chain.
Deepening Ties: Klaytn and Ozys
These two organizations aren’t new to collaboration. Ozys has been in alliance with Klaytn as a GC member and an official Development-Tool associate since July 2020. With the recent MOU, their mutual roles will be fortified, revolving around their primary networks and critical global offerings.
The synergy extends beyond just business, covering domains like marketing, public relations, and community engagement. Augmenting their collaboration, Klaytn Foundation is set to serve as a validator on Orbit Bridge starting from August 10.
Orbit Bridge: A Global Blockchain Contender
Orbit Bridge boasts support for 21 blockchain mainnets. This includes renowned names such as Klaytn, Ethereum, Polygon, and TON. In addition, the platform offers linkages to over 100 tokens and 51 protocols. This has enabled Orbit Bridge to attain a top 3 position based on TVL in the realm of global cross-chain bridges.
Ozys has an impressive portfolio beyond just the Orbit Bridge. It has pioneered platforms such as KLAYswap, a decentralized global exchange; KLAYSTATION, catering to KLAY public staking; KlaytnScope, dedicated to Klaytn block exploration; and Allbit.com, a premier charting service.
Leaders Speak: A Mutual Vision for the Future
Choi Jin Choi, the CEO of Ozys, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this partnership. He emphasized the concurrent growth of both Ozys and the Klaytn ecosystem since their inception. Choi highlighted that with this partnership, the Klaytn Foundation would play a crucial role in validating the Orbit Bridge Klaytn mainnet, ensuring transaction reliability and aiding in the ecosystem’s steady growth.
Echoing Choi’s sentiments, Sam Seo, Director of the Klaytn Foundation, recognized the significance of the MOU. Seo believes that this partnership is a beacon of sustainability for the Klaytn ecosystem, especially concerning the KLAY value chain. He envisions creating synergies in the global market through a deep-rooted understanding between both organizations.
